Kaylie starts shaking as she realises that they might have just found their murderer. She puts down the poison bottle and stands up. She turns to Lucia.
[Kaylie] Who's room is this?
[Lucia] It's Anne's..
Kaylie shakes her head. She walks out while shaking. Lucia follows her. Kaylie sits down in the maid's living room and Lucia sits beside her.
[Kaylie] It can't be Anne. It wasn't Anne. She's a manipulator, but not a murderer, I know she's not. The vents are connected to the poison could be anyone's. We need to question all the maids again.
[Lucia] If you insist..
They walk back to the main floor. As they enter the living room, all the guests turn to them.
[Lucia] We found a bottle of poison. It was hidden in the vents of the maid's quarters. We're going to question all the maids for a second time.
Matt brings all the maids into the kitchen. Kaylie takes one of them into a bedroom. She locks the door and turns to the maid.
[Kaylie] What's your name?
[Christine] Christine.
[Kaylie] Are you the murderer?
[Christine] No. I have something to say though, I heard someone talking about this being a plan to 'get back at that girl'.
Kaylie goes quiet. She looks at Christine. She opens the door and let's her go. She sits down on the bed. She doesn't want to believe it. Could it be? Did she do it? Did Anne kill them? She had an alibi though. The chef. Matt walks in.
[Matt] Well? What did she say?
[Kaylie] It couldn't have been Anne. She had an alibi. The chef.
Matt goes quiet. He looks at her.
[Matt] The chef said they were alone during the murder. They turned the lights out.
Kaylie looks at him. She looks mad. She kicks a wall and dashes out. She runs downstairs.
[Kaylie] I'm out! I'm not investigating anymore! Lucia and Matt can do it all on their own!
The guests look shocked. Lucia looks at her. Kaylie bursts into tears and runs to her room. She locks the door and jumps on her bed. She punches a pillow.
Pamela goes outside. She stands on the porch, in the rain, staring at the sea. It's thundering. She doesn't care. She's calm. She closes her eyes. She breathes the clean air. She spends around 20 minutes outside. It's already 1 am and everyone is tired. They can't sleep though. How can a person sleep in a house with a murderer? Lucia sighs. This is not what she planned when she invited them to this party.
