Matt calls everyone to sit around the dinner table.
He sits down with an emotionless face. He crosses his legs and sighs.
[Matt] It seems that we are back where we started. It has come to my attention that one of the maids gave someone the key to the knife room.
Everyone goes quiet. They stare at each other in distrust and fear. No one knows who it could have been. Everyone is uncomfortable knowing they aren't safe in a room full of people they thought they knew and could trust. Lana is sobbing quietly while trying to wipe away tears. Kaylie is staring into the void with a blank face. She doesn't feel anything. That's just how traumatized she is from this situation. Lucia is trying to stay calm but feels the need to say something, as she's the one who invited them into this murder house in the first place.
Matt looks at them disappointed. He gets up and walks out the building. He goes walking in the horrendous storm without even a jacket. He screams and yells curse words till he doesn't feel anything anymore. Before he was scared. Now he's angry.
He walks back in.
[Matt] We will continue the investigation soon. Now everyone, go to your rooms and sleep!
He runs off very mad. The guests look at each other and get up. They slowly walk upstairs. Kaylie and Noah go in their room and Noah locks the door.
[Noah] What a day, right babe?
[Kaylie] I've witnessed death and questioned possible murderers and the only thing you have to say to me is "what a day"?
Before Noah can answer she locks herself in the bathroom.
[Kaylie] This time I'm gonna shower and no one is gonna interrupt me.
She takes off her clothes and turns on the shower.
Pretending she's safe in the shower makes her feel better. She stands in the shower calmly and quietly.
She just stands in the warm shower for 20 minutes till she suddenly turns it off and puts on a top and shorts. She comes out of the bathroom and goes to bed. Noah lays down next to her and hugs her.
[Noah] I'm sorry.
He kisses her and she smiles.
[Kaylie] It's ok I guess.
He hugs her tightly and kisses her one more time.
As Kaylie's almost asleep she hears him get up.
[Noah] I'm gonna go get a glass of water. I'll be back soon.
He kisses her forehead and leaves the room. Kaylie tries to sleep, but is feeling uneasy.
{Kaylie's thoughts} What if the murderer attacks him? What if the murderer attacks me? What if the murderer steals his water.. Wait, no, that's silly..
She gets up and tiptoes out of the room. She walks downstairs and sees Lucia in the kitchen drinking water. Lucia notices her and smiles at her. Kaylie was about to speak when they heard the sound of someone picking up a knife. Kaylie silently runs behind the staircase into a closet and Lucia hides behind a door. They hear a scream and a knife falling. They run to the living room, where they see Noah. Stabbed. Falling to the ground.
What a twist.
