After a long and slightly awkward car ride, I got to school on time and I immediately noticed my best friend Brooke. She looked at me and ran towards me.

"Nomi, i'm so happy you're back!" she said with a smile on her face.

Brooke and I walked to our friends, Emma, Isabell, and Eloise. After we asked about each other vacation we all walked to our lockers to grab our books for the day.

"So which lessons do you have today?" Isabell asked me with a bright smile on her face.

"Well I have Math the first period and-"

"We'll have that period together!" Eloise said interrupting me excitedly. We hadn't seen each other the whole summer because she went on vacation the weeks I was home and the other way around as well.

We ended up comparing our schedules and it turns out I had first and last period with Eloise, second with with Isabell, third with Emma and fourth period alone. Sadly no lessons with Brooke today.

We all split up and walked to our first class of the day. I walked with Eloise to math and she immediately started talking to me. She told me about all the drama I missed in the vacation.

Turns out Emma had been a real player this vacation. She kissed like ten boys.

When we got to math class the lesson had almost began and we were just on time. Me and Eloise sat down and a boring day of lessons began.

'*•.¸♡ ♡¸.•*'

"Come on let's go to the cafeteria." Isabell said excitedly. We had just finished our second period and Isabell was eager to get to the cafeteria.

"Why are you so excited?" I asked her confused.

"Brooke said she has a date with someone." she answered me.

"Well with who?" Isabell didnt reply anymore. We had gotten to the cafeteria and I saw Isabells eyes scanning the tables until the finally settled on the other girls. Me and Isabell walked to the table and Isabell immediately spoke up.

"And who is it?" she asked eagerly. I slowly sat down on one of the chairs around the table.

Brooke, Emma and Eloise were giggling like little schoolgirls.

"Lucas." Brooke replied with a smile on her face. Isabell looked like she had seen a ghost. She tried to summon a smile on her face but failed miserably. Luckily Brooke didnt notice it. She was to distracted by something behind.

"Look that's him." she pointed out to me.

I looked at the direction she pointed at and saw a group of boys. I had no idea which one she meant but I didnt want to ruin her daydream. I would ask one of the other girls later.

Brooke continued ranting about Lucas and explaining every minor detail about how she met him and how he asked her out.

They met at the local pool in the last week of the vacation. I was still in Texas when they met. He walked up to her and asked for her number. Later he send her a message and they've been texting ever since. Then today she had art with him a and he asked her out.

She was totally freaking out and asked me and the girls to come over later. We of course all agreed and the rest of the day went by faster that expected and before I knew it, it was time to go to Brookes house.
