"Why are you in my house?" Javon asked angrily while pointing his finger at me. I immediately stepped away from him.

I started to get worked up. How dare he be mad at me whilst he was the one ignoring. Like in what universe does that make sense.

"Why would you care?" I responded frustrated. That boy was really starting to anger me.

"I don't care, I just-" he said falling silent mid sentence.

"You what, Javon, finish your fucking sentence."

Javon looked flabbergasted. Probably because he'd never seen her mad.

"Nomi just listen." he tried to reason with me as he stepped a bit closer.

"Don't 'Nomi' me. You don't get to do that anymore." I didn't recall him ever calling me Nomi but I was mad I didn't care.

"Just please listen to me." I saw in his eyes he started to get desperate.

"No you don't get to do that." I said as tears started to form in my eyes from anger. " You literally ignored me for days and now, now you want to talk to me." I could see his mouth opening to say something back.

" Don't speak." I told him tears still burning in my eyes. "You don't get to do that. You know how much it hurts being ignored by someone for no reason. It really fucking hurts. And it's your fault."

At this point I could see him get sad too.

"I've thought of all the reason there could be." I spoke again. "All the things I could have done for you to just stop talking to me. I have thought of every single reason but I never found one. Maybe you just hate me or think this is fun but I am fucking hurt."

It was quiet for scopulae of seconds. No sounds were heard in the whole house.

"You know why I did it." Javon said breaking the silence. "You know why I ignored you. he said while his voice broke down. "because I fucking like you and I have from the start."

My whole body stiffened and my eyes widened as I looked at him utterly shocked. I opened my mouth to say something.

"No, now you have to let me speak." he said stopping me from speaking. "I've liked you since the day you punched me in the face. It may have been painful but I think it's so amazing what you do for you're friends and I'm sorry Ive been a asshole but I just knew you would never like me back. I don't want to press you into liking me and you probably don't like me back but-"

I shut him up by stepping forward and pressing my lips on his. At first Javon was to shocked to react but after a couple of seconds he started kissing me back.

After what felt for an eternity we finally pulled away from each other.

"If it wasn't clear yet I like you too." I said smiling.
