When we got to the party hall the dance would be held it was already pretty busy. I was struck by awe when I saw the setting before me. It was so beautiful.

The entrance was entirely covered with lights which gave it a magical vibe.

Javon grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. It was even more beautiful than the outside. I was so happy the dance wasn't held in the gym like the previous year.

There were a lot of people and the dance floor was pretty crowded. I saw a photo booth and immediately pulled Javon inside.

I pressed on the start button and Javon looked at me smiling.

"You need to look at the camera." I told him as the three second timer started.

"I just wanna look at you." I smiled at him and turned my head back at the camera but the picture had already been taken.

I pulled it out of the machine and it actually looked pretty cute. Javon and I were looking at each other with admiration in our eyes.

I stuffed the picture in my bag and pulled him to the dance floor. We started dancing and after a couple of minutes I saw Eloise and Brooke walk in.

I walked towards them with Javon following me.

When suddenly Emma appeared in front of my face.

"I see you did decide to wear the dress." she said with a disgusted look on her face.

I sighed. I really didn't want to deal with her right now. I saw Brooke and Eloise walking towards me.

"Well I see your little lapdogs are already running to save you. I'll see you later." and before I could respond she walked away.

I couldn't understand her sudden change of heart towards me. Sure we didn't always had the best bond but we were still friends.

"What was that about." Javon asked me from behind disrupting my thoughts.

"Oh just-" but Eloise and Brooke were already next to us and Eloise was extremely angry.

"That dumb fucking bitch, how the fuck dare she."

"Calm down it wasn't that bad." I tried to calm her down.

"Wasn't that bad wasn't that bad she literally-" but I didn't hear what she said anymore.

Javon had pulled me to the dance floor and a slow dance number started to play.
