I didn't know whls the person who sent me in my house, kasi pag gising ko nasa kwarto ko na ako.

I sat across from Hailey and Elijah, in a cozy café, our mugs of hot coffee steaming before us. A glint of excitement sparkled on their her eyes, i knotted my head of what they want about to do.

Is this what they called like or perhaps addiction might as well i need to jail myself because myself was slowly falling to her high tower. Maybe my friend can give me some ideas about like or love. Dunno lang.

"Eli, what can you say about love and like?" I asked that make Hailey stop tapping on her phone.

Elijah leaned forward, her hands gesturing animatedly as she began, "Okay, listen. Like is simple, uncomplicated. It's that warm feeling you get when you're around someone, like how I feel when I'm with you. It's the comfort and camaraderie we share, the common interests, and the laughter that fills the air." I bitterly smiled because of her statement.

Shes expert talaga when it comes on this topic, dalawa sila ni Hailey.

I smiled, enjoying her vivid description, but I couldn't resist interjecting, "But love goes beyond that. It's deeper and more profound. Love is when you can't help but think about someone constantly, when their happiness becomes your priority, and their pain pierces your heart. Love is selflessness, sacrifice, and a willingness to stand by someone no matter what." I said that make her mouth hanging.

Hailey leaned back, considering my words. "I agree that love has a powerful aspect of selflessness, but sometimes we use the word 'love' too loosely. People say they love something when it's just a strong like. Like, when you say you love chocolate ice cream or a TV show, you're not really talking about love as we understand it in relationships." She sadly said and diverted her gaze to her phone again.

"That's a fair point," Elijah conceded. "Love can be misused and diluted in various contexts. But doesn't that also show how versatile and complex love is? It can be both profound and fleeting, intense and gentle. It adapts to the different facets of life." She fight Hailey gazed and smiled fakely trying the Hailey's patient.

Hailey eyes lit up, the thrill of the debate coursing through her veins. "But isn't that exactly why 'like' is so much more straightforward? When you like something, it's easy to understand and define. It's like choosing your favorite color or food. There's no need for interpretation or speculation." She boredly said and rolled her eyes to Elijah.

Ngumiti lang ang isa at tumango, sipping to her coffee and stared to hailey that still busy on her phone. But her ears are on us.

"But that's the beauty of love," she argued, leaning forward to match Hailey enthusiasm. "Its enigmatic nature adds a touch of magic to life. Love is mysterious and unpredictable, and while it might be more complicated to comprehend, it also brings joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose like nothing else."

They are smart when it comes to this topic, i just sipping my coffee and admiring the beauty of this coffee shop. Even the smell of the shop is all about coffee. Obviously its a coffee shop that's why, ang bubu self ah.
