"Hey." Cross kissed his boyfriend.
"Hey, love." Nightmare chuckled. They had met up at the movies.
"How're you?"
"I'm good. You alright?"
"I'm fine." Cross held his hand.
"Good." Nightmare led him into the theater. They got snacks and stuff and then found their seats. "So, you've never been to a theater? I hope it isn't too cold."
Cross hugged himself a little. "I'll live."
"Pfft, I mean, I know that."
"Well, you act really worried all the time." Cross shrugged.
"You're wearing my hoodie."
"I know. It's warm."
"And you look cute in it."
"Thanks."
"How's Chara?"
"He hasn't gotten hurt, thankfully. He's alright."
"That's good to hear."
"Hey, the movie's starting." Cross faced the screen. Nightmare kissed him quickly.
"Don't get crushed."
"I'm trying. It's hard."
"That's what she said-"
"'She?'" Cross asked curiously.
"I-It's a joke- you know what? Don't worry about it."
"Sorry. I was focusing on the movie."
"We're like two seconds in- Woah, that's a f**k ton of lore."
...
"No, Clarence. It was me all along!!"
"Nooooooooooooooo!!!"
"Stacy is also your mother!"
"Dude, just shoot him!" Nightmare whisper shouted.
"What's even going on??" Cross was trying to connect the dots.
"Pain."
"Lebarononsycaria was alive all this time!?"
"Yes, and I bless you with strength! As long as you remember what's important in life."
Some guy in the back started to heckle aloud. He was pulled out and fined. Nightmare felt something heavy on his shoulder. Cross had his head laying on it. He patted the other's head. "This movie is kinda garbage."
"Worth it, though. I'd hate to leave in the middle on a cliffhanger."
"That'd suck." Cross hummed in agreement. He turned his attention back to the screen.
...
"I can't believe the insane amount of cliches in that movie."
"I've barely seen any and I knew what would happen."
"Exactly!"
"Do you want to go somewhere else, now?"
"I need to run some errands."
"Alright."
"Let's go." Nightmare pulled him into the car and the driver sped off.
...
"How much chocolate?"
"Three bars."
"Mkay." He slid them into his basket.
