Cross' chair screeched as he pulled it out to sit down. The sides of Nightmare's mouth twitched upwards with excitement. He tried hard to hide it, though. He wanted to get alone time with Cross for at least two minutes. He could do so much with that time. . . but they weren't together. Y E T.
Cross poked him out of his thoughts. It was probably for the best, he was getting unholy. He whispered rather than write, so he didn't compromise himself. "Is the water thing still spiked?" Gosh, this is the millionth time, but his voice was adorable. It wasn't helping his horniness.
"Uh, yeah."
He smiled. "Great." That smile. . . he wanted to kiss him so much at that moment- He held back and stuffed it into the deepest, darkest corners of his sinful mind. He sighed and grabbed Cross' hand under the table. His eyes widened and face lit up.
"Uh, I'm just hoping we don't get caught."
"O-oh, okay." He intertwined their fingers and tried to make it seem as much as them being a couple as possible.
Footsteps. There were footsteps heading towards the classroom, a group of them. Cross tried to tug his hand away from Nightmare's, he wouldn't let him.
"They'll see." Cross whispered again, more frantic this time. Nightmare didn't let go, instead, he moved his hand so that it was under Cross', their fingers weren't entwined anymore. He lifted Cross' hand to his face and gently kissed the back of it. He pulled his hand back, much to his disappointment, and acted like it never happened.
Cross took his hand back as well, then crossed his arms on the wooden surface of the desk and hid his overly violet face in them to make it look like he was sleeping, it would be the first time, that's why no one suspected anything when they walked in.
AHHH WHY DID I DO THAT!?
AHHH WHY DID HE DO THAT!?
There was a thud at the classroom door. A student had fallen face first on the floor, clearly dizzy. Nightmare and Cross smirked at each other.
"Hiiiii~" Yup. They definitely used the water fountain.
Cross giggled at the drunken face of. . . Carl, Anderson, and Jax. They were buddies who sat in the front who never brought their own water, and were always thirsty in the morning. They would definitely be the first to get drunk. They would hang around the water fountains, gulping down the liquid as if they haven't seen water in days. Nightmare snickered in a way that excited Cross.
More people walked in and sat down at their respective seats, completely oblivious to their drunken classmates. They were odd on normal days as well.
Dream came in with Killer. Dream had no clue of what went down last night, but Killer, however, had overheard their plans the previous lunchtime. The taller (Dream) looked over at the three water fountain-mauling amigos and could instantly tell something was off. He walked up to Nightmare. Oh no.
"Brother? Are they alright?"
"How would I know? Everyone's on crack these days."
"You did something didn't you?"
"Perhaps~"
Dream sighed and headed to his seat, where Killer was waiting in his seat.
