Madeline's POV

     I entered the crowded cafeteria with Michael and spotted our table.

     Our group basically claims that table, it's not like we were anything special, but we were special to each other.

     There's only four people in our group. Luke, Michael, Destiny and I.

     Destiny was Luke's girlfriend and one of my best friends as well.

     "Are you guys going to Ashton's party tonight too?" I asked, deciding not to eat lunch.

     "Yeah," Luke responded with a weak smile.

     I'm not wearing some revealing attire to the party.

     I'm probably going to wear my casual look cause I barely have any dresses.

   I don't need to draw attention to me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     I heard the door squeak open, causing me to jump. It was probably Michael using the spare key to my house I gave him.
     "We match," he said like an overly- excited five year old.
     I looked and he was right, exactly matching.
     Red flannel, black skinny jeans, and black vans.
     Pretty basic if I do say so myself but I honestly don't care.
     "Mhm," I murmured before blending a quick to go smoothie.
     "Let's go," I said grabbing my cup.
     "Remember I'll be by your side," Michael assured.
     I got in the passenger's seat of Michael's car as he turned the radio on.
     One Ok Rock. (A/n: Amazing band! Check them out if you haven't yet.)
     "I am still broken in two parts, there is my mind, there is my heart!" Michael and I screamed as the light breeze from the summer air drifted through the windows, chilling my legs.
     After the song was over, it was quiet between Michael and I.
     It wasn't awkward but it was peaceful.
     As I felt the car wobble from the bump of entering into the driveway I realized where we were.
     I tried not to panic, as the only reason I'm here is for Michael.
     We walked inside and the disgusting smell of alcohol hit me.
     I tried to ignore it and followed Michael to wherever he was going.
     I felt my shoulder brush against someone.
    "Watch where you're going." the familiar voice growled.
     "Sorry," I said shutting my mouth.
I looked up and it was Calum. I quickly walked away, avoiding him.
     I looked around and seemed to have lost Michael and tried somehow not to have an anxiety attack.
