Madeline's POV

I ran out of the store before my 'father' could try to get me.

I held on to Calum's door handle and pulled.

Locked

Calum, you aren't making this easy.

I stood outside of the car on the passenger side, just awkwardly waiting for Calum.

I saw him walk out of the doors of the restroom stop.

"Get inside," he looked at me like I was completely stupid.

    "You locked it dumbass."

He sighed and pressed the button on his car key lanyard.

I got in the car along with Calum.

It was silent for the rest of the time besides the sound of the heavy metal radio station cranked up.

That one question was stuck inside my head.

I was burning to ask it.

   "C-Calum?" He hummed in response.

"Um what happened to David?" I asked, curious.

"Don't worry about it," he grinned.

"Oh okay." I'm still in the state of shock from everything.

"Where do you want me to drop you off at?" He asked.

   "Luke and Michael's" I responded.

He turned the radio off and grabbed his Advil bottle from a compartment of his car.

"Where are we going?" We pulled into a driveway of a house that didn't look familiar to me at all.

"This is my house," he scoffed.

"I told you to take me to Michael and Luke's?" I was clearly confused.

"What if something bad happens again? Your mum knows where they live," he mumbled.

"Good point" I said giving in, there's no way of winning with Calum.

I walked into his house, it was neater than I thought it would be.

"Uh I'll just sleep on the floor. I don't want to bother yo-" I carried on.

"Whatever" he rolled his eyes.  There we go, the Calum I knew.

I knew that this "Nice Calum" wasn't going to last long.

"Uh well yeah goodnight," he said, slamming his bedroom door.

I made my way towards the couch and grabbed a blanket.

I had jeans on and it was bothering me.

But I don't have any clothes besides the ones I'm wearing.

I got up and made my way towards the door of his bedroom, turning the knob.

  "Hey Calum I was wonderi-"

I saw from under the sheets his hand was jerking back and forth.

"I'm just going to leave, I don't want to bother you," I said trying not to chuckle.

He laughed while his hand was moist. "Maddie come here!" He laughed chasing me.

"No get away from me with that" I yelled and ran outside.

He opened his screen door and ran outside after me.

"Damn it Madeline, it's pouring rain!"

He ran up from behind me and hugged me.

I screamed but our lips soon collided and I didn't pull away.

I sucked on his fingers and his eyes went wide.

"You're lucky you taste good," I smirked.
