Madeline's POV

I looked around and about and gave up.

I felt upset as if Michael broke his promise.

I sighed and walked outside to where no one was.

But I suddenly saw someone leaning on the house smoking.

I coughed while the smell of smoke entered my body.

"You're seriously wearing that to a party?" he snickered, Calum.

"Uh yeah, I don't want to draw attention to myself." I responded.

"Even if you did wear some dress, no one would find you attractive." I watched him use hand gestures to make quotation marks where he said 'attractive.'

"I didn't ask for your opinion," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Don't get smart with me," he said, warning me.

"Who do you think you are!" I was starting to get very angry.

"Madeline, I mean it," he said through gritted teeth.

I walked back inside, I wasn't in the mood to start an argument at the moment.

As soon as I stepped inside, I saw Michael in the living room playing truth or dare.

"There you are!" I said walking over to him.

"Hey Maddie!" He slurred and I rolled my eyes.

Great he's drunk, just what I needed.

"Let's go you're drunk," I said, I'm not going to stay here 'partying' all night.

I helped Michael as he stumbled out the door.

"Leaving so soon?" Calum said, beating his cigarette into the ground.

"None of your business," I said walking to Michael's car.

"Remember what I said," he smirked as I slammed the car door.
