Madeline's POV

"You're awake."

"W-what," I groaned, rubbing my eyes.

My vision became clear again and the figure stood right in front of me.

"D-David," I stuttered.

"I told you to stay away from Michael. Daddy's little girl didn't do that did she?" he smirked.

"N-no," I choked.

"You killed someone I see," he chuckled.

"No, she was my best friend," I coughed.

"You liar, get in the car," he said, pushing me.

"What why?" I said confused, why am I here in the first place?

"Psychiatric ward," he said pushing me in, locking the doors before I could try and get out.

He started driving and I realized there was a restroom stop close by.

"Hey David, can I use the restroom real quick?" I asked.

"I don't want you escaping," he rolled his eyes.

"You can stand right outside of the door," I said, convincing him.

"Alright" he said pulling over.

I walked inside the store, he was right by my side.

"Hey I got a question," I said awkwardly.

"Why do you care about me going to the hospital so much?" I asked.

"Because I'm moving back in with your mom, it was a deal," he replied.

Wow, she would give me up like that.

"Okay" I said, pushing the restroom door open.

I grabbed my phone out from my pocket.

I looked, Michael's contact was deleted.

Calum was the only one left?

"Calum pick up" I whispered.

"Hello" he said in his same annoyed tone.

"Calum I know you hate me. But my dad kidnapped me and he's going to take me to a Psychiatric ward and I didn't even do an-" I sobbed as he cut me off.

"Shhh, where are you?" he asked.

"A restroom stop on highway 57." I whispered.

"I'm coming to help you, don't worry" He assured and the line went dead.

I looked in the mirror and noticed my blood shot eyes.

All I could do is wait for now.

Calum's POV

Madeline does tend to get on my nerves here and then.

But when she called me and told me the news.

I got angry, someone trying to hurt her? It surprised me on how I felt.

But I knew if something happened and I wasn't there, I would feel horrible.

Her dad doesn't know what I'm capable of.

Madeline's POV

"Madeline hurry up!" My dad yelled banging on the door that I had locked.

People were probably staring at his idiotic self.

"Only I call her Madeline," I heard another voice from outside.

"And you are?"

I walked outside of the restroom quietly.

"Go to my car," Calum muttered, making sure David didn't hear.

"Now!" he yelled and I ran.
