Madeline's POV
We stayed up in the treehouse as it struck midnight.
I laid in his arms as he played with the tips of my hair.
"McCarthy" he laughed.
"Hood" I mocked him.
"Let's go back to my house. It's getting late."
"Calum, I don't want to bother you. You don't have to 'babysit' me in anyway. I can take care of my self just fine," I sighed.
"But Maddie, I don't want to be alone."
His voice was so close to cracking, it upset me in a way.
Exactly my fear, I hate being alone.
Ever since I was a child, I couldn't stay home alone.
I had to know where my parents were at all times.
I guess I never really got over it.
He needs someone to be here for him.
He just lost his mother and his father is always away on trips.
"Okay Calum, I'll stay." I smiled.
I followed the 'path' Calum made back to his house.
When we got there I noticed Calum doesn't lock the doors.
He let me go in first and I realized he left his tv on.
American Horror Story was on and I swear my heart leaped a bit.
I loved this show more than anything.
We sat down and he seemed to like having me in his arms.
I soon ended up drifting off, with his scent of cologne rubbing off on my sweatshirt.
