What's going on, my heart rate is increasing and my breathing isn't as controlled as it used to be, my form began to shutter from the sight before me "Kouki I have a bad feeling about this!" He started to tremble seeing Gaara's figure.

Feathers fell from the sky, it was a genjutsu "KOUKI MIMIC MY ACTIONS!" 'KIA RELEASE' looking back at Sasuke I noticed Temari was already looking in my direction, I knew it! It was their plan all along- but why Temari? Sensing a few chakras near us I threw two kunai's towards their direction signaling Kouki their whereabouts "Show me the things you've learned," I looked at him smirking as he smiled upon my request "It would be my pleasure Y/N," Vines started growing from the ground snapping the wood below us, his eyes glowed green at the action making me smile. Rushing to one of our opponents I knocked them out cold with one punch to the face, Kouki wrapped his vines around his figure tightening his grasp on his neck making him fall unconscious from lack of air, our backs were now against each other trying to sense any more presence near us.

"Kouki follow me but keep your eyes opened," Nodding he began rushing next to me, sensing somebody behind us I jumped back kicking his face and using him as a platform to boost my jump going back to Kouki while he looked at me in awe, rushing forward I saw Sakura releasing Naruto from the genjutsu grabbing Kouki's hand we stood before them watching their interaction "Sakura! I believe I already know their intentions," I told her crouching to Naruto's level asking if he was ok which he nodded as a response "Chase after Sasuke, converge on him, and stop him! And then watch and wait somewhere safe until you receive new orders," Jumping out of the hole Guy sensei made Kouki continue to follow me and the others, I won't let them destroy this village!

"There are two squads with an addition of one, so nine are tailing us right now," Pakkun spoke out with some unease, I can sense them too- they were ordered to distract us, could it be that Gaara is their weapon? All that chakra swirling through him reminded me of Naruto's- could that be the reason...to protect him. That's it! But how would that come to our benefit? "Even if an ambush might be to our advantage there are many uncertainties, besides our 'friends' were assembled for this plot, while our group composed of: A dunce, a kunoichi without any particular talent, a kid, another kunoichi who can't control her chakra, a dog, and the number one slacker me,"

He got me there, I sighed in defeat and looked at Kouki who was trying to control himself before he attacked pineapple head, "If one person detains them the rest can move on making the enemy lose track of them, however, the one who gets to be the decoy will most likely- die. Any volunteers?" Looking around I noticed none of them stood up and declared to be the decoy, they all looked shaken up by the question leaving me to raise my voice "I'll be the decoy," They all looked in my direction quite shocked at my answer, Kouki balled up his fists and turned away not wanting me to go against them "No I'm the only choice!" We halted our movement as I stood in front of Shikamaru shaking my head side by side "I'll go! You're brilliant Shikamaru, we wouldn't want our leader to be harmed- would we?" He gapped at my confession being stuck on how I called him a leader, I laid my hand on his shoulder and smiled at him "It'll be fine, you're much more important for our plans," now I remember the reason why I liked you y/n, unlike other people you put others before yourself no matter the consequences- you will truly make a fine kunoichi, he leaned closer to her face he was now a few inches away, his eyes trailed around her face being breathless from the beautiful features she contained, for some reason he finally realized her true beauty. He was starstruck...raising his arm he patted your head "Make it quick, we will need you," Her eyes widened at his words, they need me? Her whole body stiffened giving him a nod.

"Kouki, I'll be back! Remember I'm your mentor," He trusted her words, he knew that she was intelligent and strong but the only thing that concerned him was her thoughts.

Standing in front of the eight I could sense the ninth one behind me, has he not noticed my shadow clone? No matter I will defeat them even if it costs me my life. Holding a kunai tightly I moved forward, they all rushed at me making me smirk they soon stepped into my trap getting them captured inside a net making them panic "I wouldn't move if I were you, that net is not only very resident but it also has poison on them- one wrong move and you start melting," I could feel the fearful look in their eyes, they started squirming around trying to find an exit but I had everything planned out so they could not find any way to escape, the ninth appeared in front of the net trying to get them out but was soon halted by my clone knocking him out. A true Shinobi not only has an unbelievable amount of physical strength but also contains intelligence which was something they didn't have. Soon enough she continued her journey to find Sasuke.

Y/N was a brilliant girl and possessed a huge amount of strength but her doubts held her back, it made her think that the strength she used while holding back was her real strength which that wasn't the case, she thought low of herself- she didn't see herself to be strong in any way. But she was. Perfect is something nobody can be yet for some reason everybody thought she was, although her mind said the opposite that's why nobody was able to tell she was struggling with accepting herself.
