Our last moments together

That night I couldn't get any sleep, I turned and twisted in hope to find a comfortable position but I stayed up thinking. Sasuke, why can't you just forget about revenge? I know I might be clueless about it knowing my mom hasn't died yet but...the friendship I once had with Itachi died and Shisui had a terrible incident too. Why can't you just leave it that way?
Sometimes things happen for a reason and nobody, not even you can change it.

Looking out of my window I couldn't help but wonder about the things that wander around your mind, laying my head on my pillow slowly but surely I went to slumber...and in that very dream, two words whispered in my ear that night.

"Bye y/n"

I opened my eyes only to be met with the bright sun reflecting on my skin, what was that? A shiver ran down my spine recalling the words, his voice. A single name flooded my head just by hearing the voice
Sasuke!

I rushed to the Hokage's office without a second to waste I could feel it! It was him, he visited me that night and said his goodbyes! It pained me it really did, I had thought we had at least grown a bit closer from our past interactions. But I was wrong. Why can't anything go right! I just wanted us to be a happy team like any other with normal missions and possibly grow stronger together, but that obviously wasn't our story.

Maybe if he didn't pull me away then things would have been better, if I tried harder to stay by his side this wouldn't have happened because I really do care about you Sasuke- you and Itachi were one of my closest friends in childhood years. I loved both of you, you guys are one of the people I consider to be important. Although whatever your wishes are they might bring me some pain but I will always remember the moments we shared.

Slamming the door open I continued to walk before her, "Lady Hokage I believe Sasuke has left the village," She gave out a slight hum turning her gaze towards me "So I've heard, no need to worry Shikamaru already assembled a team," She got up from her chair and leaned to the window looking at the view.

"May I join them!" I bit my lip in hope, my throat started getting dry when a long pause was present.

"It would be better if you remained here, I greatly apologize," I knew it. A sigh escaped my lips looking at her I nodded at the response and left with no other words.

Why didn't he tell me! If they knew before me then why didn't they inform me, I felt left out, the thought of them not sparing at least one second to inform me is truly sickening, but it wasn't gonna stop me. I will speak to Sasuke even if I have to go by myself without any assistance. Going back home I packed my equipment with some irritation leaking, her patience thinned by the second.
