Truth

I opened my eyes feeling the soft silky grass below me, while some dandelions were scattered between the verdant field. A white butterfly was placed upon my nose as it fluttered making the wings kiss my skin, a light wind pushed my hair backward causing the butterfly to fly away as her eyes trailed towards the insect. She watched as the sky was a bright blue sending a smile to set down her face, a certain cloud above her formed a heart as she watched it float away.

A warm hand was placed on her head, she slightly shivered from the touch causing the older male to frown at her reaction- by instinct she slapped the hand away and got up to a fighting stance, she furrowed her eyes downward not knowing who the man was. His hair was now slicked back as some pieces dangled towards his face, he used to have such long hair but he requested his wife to cut it for him as it now reached his neck like a mullet, his eyes stared at the girl lovingly leading her to be confused. He wore a black kimono robe with a white ring placed on his hand, but what confused her was how she got into this place...it was so peaceful and beautiful but she couldn't just let her guard down.

He walked closer to her making the younger one flinch at such actions, he observed her from inside and he felt the need to apologize to his little girl. He wanted her to forgive him because he was the reason why she was in this mixed-up situation, he was the reason why she couldn't live a normal life with her mother. All he wished was for her to be happy, that's all he ever wanted but his life crossed paths with hers and stopped her from continuing peacefully making her stumble. He continues walking closer- with what she could see his actions were pure, y/n felt connected to this man in some way but she didn't recall ever meeting him.

He was now before her, the following actions made her feel at peace and comfort. He placed her head on his chest and hugged her tightly not wanting to let go again, the time he hugged his child he let her go but this time he wasn't going to "Y/N, I'm so sorry for bringing you pain. All I wanted was to make you smile but I only caused sadness," He silently whispered as he kissed her forehead, she was staring at him in awe- she didn't know what to say yet a glint of happiness rushed through her.

Some seconds passes as they stayed in that position, although she didn't hug back which he noticed. He let go of her and smiled "Who are you?" She said making him sigh from such blunt words, looking at her he noticed how long her hair was reminding him of his criminal years, her eyes weren't the same as before- they seemed colder than when she was a child but they still looked so beautiful, she looked just like him yet some features grew to look just like Yua. She was a perfect mix of both of them holding so much beauty and power, but that power only caused a curse.

"I'm Haru L/N also known as your father," Her mouth gaped open being too shocked by those words, she has heard that name before and it wasn't something to be proud about knowing the destruction he committed yet a glint of excitement sparked through her, there were many stories of him and none of them described his loving side which she was seeing now, she thought all of those stories were lies nothing more but as she could see now they were true.
