I will be writing a few chapters about some sweet heartwarming flashbacks of when y/n was back in Konoha

These chapters will contain many important pieces that will make sense in the few chapters I have left to finish this fanfic.

I also wanted to add more heartwarming pieces because many things will happen, and this is something I wanted to give before the heavy things start. So please enjoy <3

My hand brushed the soft textured pieces of hair that were intertwined between my fingers, I softly began caressing his hair as he rested on my lap sleeping soundly. A small sigh escaped my lips making a smile carved onto my face, his brown hair was moving as the soft breeze carried his fuzzy hair. I could no longer see his beautiful emerald eyes as they were now seeing small images of movement flashing in his dream, his breathing was calm and sweet.

The yellow beam of light flashed upon us, making the younger boy move from the bright ball of shine. I mentally cursed at the sun for disrupting Kouki's slumber but also felt a spark of happiness rise once I saw his evergreen eyes that reflected the light coming towards us, his lips parted giving out a morning groan, and started stretching.

"You slept for a while you know," A giggle was heard from the older girl making the boy fluster from embarrassment, he got up from her lap and faced the girl with a concentrated look on his face causing the e/c eyes girl to muffle her laugh from how hilarious he looked "Come on y/n! I didn't sleep for that long," Kouki whined while he shoved a piece of cookie in his mouth, his closest friend just gave him a small smile and laid on the blanket that was set on the freshly cut grass with a variety of flowers placed between them, she brought him down with her causing them to lay next to each other while watching the clouds.

"Y/N..." The little boy spoke while turning to her, she let out a hum and returned her gaze to him. His green emerald eyes sparkled with a glint of wonder, his facial structure seemed more serious than before leading her to worry about him, he parted his lips and spoke "What's your favorite flower?" Her eyes widened a bit from the question, her head wandered off to the variety of flowers the young boy had shown her. He was able to give life to plants, although he preferred to use vines when battling, to say the least, she was impressed by the power he carried and couldn't wait to see him become the strongest Shinobi.

Her lips parted as she gave out another hum, but this time of thought. She looked into his eyes then caressed his cheek lightly making him smile, "I would have to say...a Spider Lilly," She whispered making his lips part making an 'o' he then got up and clapped his hands together forming a flower.

He opened his hands showing a blood-red tint covering the flower petals, yellow bulbs were placed on the legs of the spider causing them to bring out the darker color, her lips went upwards watching the flower flow in the direction of the wind. She felt like tearing up, she has never seen her favorite flower closed up but it astonished her to see such beauty, she had only seen them in books or paintings.
