In this story about hidden feelings, Oliver & Felicity had gotten engaged at the beginning of Arrow s6 and since Barry & Iris were also engaged, he suggested a shared bachelor party. During the festivities he reminded his friend that he can't get drunk. But Oliver thought he could prove him wrong. His plan backfired and the archer by night and Mayor by day was the only one of them who got wasted.
So Barry took him back to his and Iris apartment since it was empty. Because both their fiancé's had been invited to Kara's earth for their bachelorette's party.
Warning: Smut 😏

Speed and alcohol was definitely not a good combination. Oliver was more disoriented and nauseous than most times Barry had rushed him somewhere. He chuckled as he nearly tripped over the carpet in the speedster's living room. Luckily, Barry was quickly by his side holding him up and steered him towards the couch. Then he rushed to the kitchen to fetch his drunk friend some water.

"Can't remember the last time I was this drunk." Oliver said with a chuckle while he kicked off his shoes and laid down on the couch.

"I can see that. I've never seen you like this." Barry replied with a chuckle of his own and offered Oliver the water. Then he studied his drunk, but still handsome best man while he sat up and took a few sips. The older man was wearing dark jeans, a white shirt that wasn't buttoned all the way up and a dark leather jacket. His scruff was a bit thicker than usual and he looked a bit tired. But now also drunk and had closer to laughter than usual. A smile crossed his face when he caught Barry looking at him.

"Come're sit down, why are you just standing there?" Oliver asked with a slur while he put the empty glass back on the coffee table and tapped on the couch for the speedster to join him and Barry was brought back to reality. His cheeks flushed red as he dropped down on the couch and placed the vigilante's feet onto his lap.

"You're blushing." The older hero pointed out and it caused Barry's cheeks to flush even more red.

"No, I'm not." he protested while Oliver was grinning at the younger man's hopeless attempt to deny the fact that his face was probably as red as his superhero suit. If he had been wearing it. This evening he was dressed in ordinary blue jeans and a blue-green checkered shirt that brought out his eyes.

"Yes, you are," Oliver said teasingly with a blush of his own and bumped Barry's thigh with his toes. "And I bet this will make you blush more." he proceeded and swung his legs off the couch. Then he moved closer towards the younger man, still with a smirk on his face, and slipped his arms around the speedster's waist.

"So drunk Ollie is a hugger?" Barry wondered with a smile on his face while the drunk archer simply chuckled and buried his scruffy chin in the crook of the younger hero's neck.

"Mmm. He is," Oliver practically moaned with his voice so close to Barry's ear that he could feel warm breath against his neck. Despite the stench of alcohol, Oliver managed to turn the speedster on and sent chills through his body. "But only 'cause I don't want to admit the truth when I'm sober."

A nervous chuckle got stuck in Barry's throat upon hearing the archer's words. "What truth?" he asked and almost regretted asking because he wasn't sure what the answer would be. His friend was obviously very drunk, and engaged and so was the speedster. He very much loved Iris and wanted to marry her, but cuddling with Oliver on their couch felt nice too. After all he had secretly crushed on him for ages.

"I always like your hugs," the Star City hero replied while he carefully intertwined his calloused fingers with Barry's. "But they also make me feel things I shouldn't... things like this..." he admitted because he was drunk enough to not think about the words he was blurting out or how he was cradling the younger man's hand in his own.
