It's the first Valentine's Day since Barry & Oliver got married post-Crisis and Oliver decides to be the romantic one for a change.

Barry woke up to love songs streaming from the stereo in the bedroom. "Ollie?" he asked sleepily as he reached out to find that his husband wasn't in bed. But a teddy bear holding a Valentine's card was.

/Happy Valentine's Day to my loving husband/

Barry couldn't stop smiling as he read the card and rushed out of bed, wearing dark boxer shorts and the shirt Oliver had worn last night.

"You were supposed to stay in bed." Oliver pointed out when Barry entered the kitchen, where Oliver was busy decorating a breakfast tray. He was wearing a red t-shirt and gray sweatpants.

"So were you." Barry replied with a smirk as Oliver turned towards him.

The French toast and waffles on the counter behind Oliver smelled amazing, as did the freshly brewed coffee and the fruits. There was even a rose and some heart shaped chocolate on the tray.

"Where does this romantic Oliver Queen come from? Did we swap personalities again?" Barry wondered with a raised eyebrow. Then he slipped his arms around Oliver's waist and watched Oliver's lips twitch into a smile.

"No, but it is our first Valentine's Day together, since we got married in the summer after surviving the Crisis last year," Oliver responded while he cupped Barry's cheek. "And I know what a hopeless romantic you are."

Barry instantly captured Oliver's lips in a tender kiss. Without worrying about morning breath or the stubble on Oliver's face.

"I love you." Barry whispered and found himself still being stunned by the way Oliver looked at him with so much love and devotion. Even though they almost had been married for a year.

"I love you too," Oliver said and stole another kiss before he turned towards the breakfast tray again. "But now go back to bed so I can serve you breakfast before I change my mind."

Barry chuckled as he slowly walked away backwards. "If you change your mind I might not serve you in bed either."

Oliver was shaking his head to Barry's dirty implications, but the smile gave him away.

Once Barry returned to bed, he crawled under the covers to pretend to sleep. Usually, he would've fallen asleep again on a day off, but he was too excited and too in love with his husband this morning to do so.

Instead Barry just squeezed his eyes shut very hard until Oliver entered the bedroom to place the tray on the nightstand.

Barry heard the mattress move as Oliver sat down on the bed, but still pretended to be asleep.
"I can't wake up unless you kiss me." Barry said and peaked up at his husband before closing his eyes again.

"Now you're just being an idiot." Oliver chuckled and Barry opened his eyes to sit up.

"But I'm the idiot that you left your old life for." Barry said proudly and leaned in to steal a kiss.

Oliver cupped Barry's cheek as he returned the sweet lip-lock, but broke it when Barry tried to deepen it.

"Breakfast first, or it will get cold." Oliver said and reached for the mochas on the tray while Barry gave him a sad pout for breaking the gentle kiss.

"Okay, that's fair because I'll surely take my time with you today." Barry said as he accepted the mug and took a sip of the fresh coffee drink with some cream and cinnamon on top.

"Who put you in charge?" Oliver asked and bumped his muscular shoulder against Barry's before taking a sip from his mocha too.

"You did, when you decided to be the romantic one today," Barry said with a grin as he gestured to the tray and picked up a waffle. "That makes me the one who calls all the shots."

"Your leading skills might've improved over the years, but not in bed, my dear." Oliver replied teasingly with a smirk and gave Barry another kiss before they both dug in on the breakfast.

Teasingly Barry fed Oliver berries every now and then between eating their own waffles and French toast.

After finishing the last waffle Barry seductively licked cream of his fingers. "Mm, that was delicious." he moaned, mostly to tease Oliver.

It did the trick because Oliver's blue eyes were wide with lust when Barry proceeded to straddle his lap.

Gently Barry placed one arm around Oliver's neck while he reached for Oliver's hand with the other.

"Since you died and came back to life for me, I'm going to make our first Valentine's Day as husbands so worth it." Barry proceeded while bouncing lightly on Oliver's lap.

"You brought me back, Barry and then you married me. You've already given me more than I could ever wish for." Oliver said and cupped Barry's chin to steal a brief yet passionate kiss.

"I think I could get used to the cheesy side of Oliver Queen." Barry chuckled as their lips parted, but Oliver playfully slapped his ass for it.

"Only on Valentine's Day and other special occasions, otherwise the universe might collapse on us again." Oliver replied with a gleam in his eyes.

"If the universe didn't collapse when we left our wives to marry each other," Barry said and glanced at the golden rings on their intertwined fingers.
"or when you created a new world and gave our lost loved ones a second chance, I think it can survive a romantic Oliver Queen and me being in charge for one day." he teased fondly before claiming Oliver's smiling lips in a passionate kiss.

Happy Valentine's Day! Olivarry deserved this fluffy story. I might write more about happy them in a post-Crisis world in the future.
