This is sorta a part 2 to Jim Mortia, but you don't need to read it for anything. This is basically just a fun little follow up that works on it's own. (And yes, I'm being irresponsible writing this instead of doing my actual job so attempted hiatus continues)

Peter had been [Peter helps whole class except flash make Mobius strip study cards and gets in trouble, the avengers laugh, because peter gets in trouble]

Peter flopped down onto the couch. He was curious about the conversation Bucky had had with his principal once he was in the car, but the look on Bucky's face told Peter that it wasn't something he had to worry about and that it was more personal. He was going to ask, just later.

"So why did you try to screw over this Eugene kid?" Bucky asked, sitting in a chair opposite to the couch. Peter sighed.

"I know I shouldn't have done it, but Flash-"

"Flash?"

"It's what he goes by at school." Peter groaned and Bucky smirked.

"Okay, that does sound super obnoxious, but that can't be the only reason you didn't let him in on the trick." Bucky correctly assumes.

"He was just bullying some kids, talking about how they needed extra notes to even dream of passing the class and he was bragging about how he didn't even need a study card. It was just frustrating and then he started bugging MJ and Julie and I decided that if he didn't even need a study card he certainly didn't need a study card hack." Peter finishes his story and takes a deep breath. All Bucky could think was that he was lucky to have understood because Peter talked extremely quickly.

"Good on you kid," Bucky got up and ruffled Peter's hair as he walked by. "I may not understand this whole Mobia curve thing, but- and don't tell Steve this- or Nat- Or Tony, just in short I'm proud of you Pete."

"Thanks Mr Barnes, sir. And don't worry, I won't breathe a word to Mr. Stark because that would mean he would find out about my suspension." Bucky chuckled while he poured himself a glass of brandy. With a grin Bucky toasted to the sky and mumbled under his breath. "To you, Jim."

Bucky was lying on the couch, reading, when Friday told him the Avengers were about to dock. Bucky was about to call Peter when he heard a commotion in the kitchen. Bucky was about to go check on it when he saw an overly positive and up-beat teen crawling across the ceiling. Bucky outright laughed and Peter just smirked, putting a finger to his lips, asking for silence. Bucky shook his head, grinning. Steve had been so serious since they reunited. With his PTSD nothing felt like it used to, Steve was basically walking on eggshells whenever they were together. It was why he truly didn't mind missing missions lately, and spending time with Peter felt normal and fun. Sam was also pretty good for a regular old laugh and annoyance. Still, Bucky knew what Peter was planning and he was going to enjoy it. The Avenger's started filing in one by one. Clint was helping Nate with a slight limp, but it didn't seem serious so Peter didn't call off his fun. Tony was arguing with Steve about battle strategy, while Bruce walked by with his calming headphones. Vision and Wanda were heading down to their room like usual and Scott was annoying Sam, making him the perfect prey.

"Scott, I am begging you to leave me alone." Sam was almost right under Peter.

"Once you agree that my points are valid."

"I squash ants on a daily basis, and I am not above squashing an Ant Man." Sam threatened and Peter smiled to himself. This was perfect. Peter shot his webs at Sam's feet and pulled. Sam immediately flew upwards by his ankles. Peter let go of his webs and Sam fell to the floor hard. Every Avenger turned and laughed, even Nat and Clint cracked up. Bucky outright laughed as Tony congratulated his kid. Peter jumped down as Sam cursed, wincing as he got up.

"Real funny kid." Sam mocked.

"Don't change my suit without asking next time." Peter quipped, jumping down and patting Sam on the back and making him stumble again.

"Looks like someone's on a mischief roll today." Vision smiled, his arm wrapped around Wanda.

"What?" Peter became confused.

"Don't bother trying to avoid it Queens, we know you've been suspended." Steve crossed his arms with a smug look. Peter looked at Bucky, slightly shocked and a little betrayed.

"Hey, I didn't say anything." Bucky lifted his arms in a joking surrender.

"FRIDAY let us know, kid." Tony informed. "Metal arm did not rat you out." Tony snickered and then cleared his throat. He still wasn't the biggest fan of Bucky but he was trying to be nice. "Thanks for picking Peter up by the way."

"No problem," Bucky awkwardly answered, going back to his book.

"So, on a scale of 1 to me taking your suit away, how much trouble are you in?"

"I swear it's no big deal Mr. Stark," Peter sighed only to receive a certain look from Tony. "Okay, fine. Just don't tell May please."

"What did you do?" Tony asked again.

"It wasn't power related was it?" Steve half scolded, half asked.

"No."

"Bucky, what did he do?"

"Don't know Steve. I didn't particularly care, all I know is the kid is in the right." Bucky replied.

"Kid?"

"I really think what I did was justified Mr Stark. Our teacher told us that we could have a flashcard for notes during out next class but we could only use one side." Peter starts to explain.

"Okay..."

"And there was this annoying kid making fun of some of my classmates and bragging about how he didn't even need the flashcard in the first place. He was being a real ass- jerk, I meant jerk... point is I decided that since he 'didn't even need a flashcard' I wouldn't waste my time helping him... by making him a mobius strop study card like I showed the rest of the class how to do." Peter finished explained and looked to the floor wondering if his mentor was going to be upset. Tony started to laugh and so did Bruce, and Vision. Tony explained what the Mobius strip was and then soon all the Avengers were laughing and smirking.

"That's smart kid." Tony complimented. "I suppose I'm starting to wear off on you."

"Or he was always this intelligent." Wanda teases.

"And leaving out the bully, I can't publicly say I support your actions, but nice work Queens." Steve nodded. Peter looked around the room and he felt at home. These people appreciated him and they knew all of him, the good, the bad, the normal, the spiderman. The loved him for all of it and he was so thankful to have them.

Thanks for reading and hope you are all having a great day! (Now I will do homework and work... definetely not write more fanfics or anything.) Seriously though, I won't or I shouldn't be posting for a bit again.
