My transformation was complete. Like a caterpillar to a butterfly. Only in my case it was a human to a Lycanwing. I had no memory of my friends. They were just blood vessels. Vessels that hold an easy meal. I growled at them.
"Hiccup, please, you're still in there." Astrid begged.
I roared as if to answer; "No he's not."
"You got to admit his eyes are wicked cool." Tuffnut said.
"Bro that's not helping Hiccup." Ruffnut said.
"It might. I'm complementing his eyes. He might not kill us if we complement him." Tuffnut said.
I looked at them one by one. My eyes turned to Fishlegs. Yes. He'll do. The fat ones always have the most blood and the juiciest flesh.
"Eeeeh, why is Hiccup looking at me?" Fishlegs asked.
"It's because you're fat." Snotlout said.
The moron had a solid point. I walked over to the fat boy. He would make a tasty meal. I growled at him. I lunged at him. My claws would've got him, if it weren't for the big Gronckle. It slapped me with it's huge tail. I fell backwards. This kill would never be easy. I had to scramble the pack. I flew up with my huge wings and shot out fire at the group of people.
"Run!!" Heather said.
They did exactly what I wanted then to do; scramble. Each one and their dragons broke off into many groups. I saw the fat one running deeper into the cave. I swooped down and flew after him.
"Hiccup! I'm you're best friend! Please don't eat me!" Fishlegs said.
I did not understand what the fat one said. Oh well. I'm gonna eat him all the same. I was faster than a Gronckle. I caught up to them quickly. I grabbed Fishlegs and threw him onto the cave floor. The Gronckle tried to attack me, but I slapped it with my tail. It slammed into the wall. Now the meal is nice and tasty. There's no where for him to run.
I landed and walked closer to my meal. My mouth was drooling. I was about to drink his blood when I stopped. Something about him looked familiar. Was he a friend?
"Fi--Fishlegs." I breathed.
"Yeah that's right. I'm your friend." Fishlegs said sitting up.
He reached out his hand. I reached out mine but only for a bit, but then I gripped my head tightly while roaring. There was a burning pain inside my head. Blood... I needed blood. I broke through the cave's roof and started flying North.
I needed blood and I wouldn't find any here.
