We didn't stop until we reached a small island. Toothless and I landed. Ragnar landed near us. My emotions were spiraling out of control. Ragnar words stung. He was right.
"Let me take a look at your gash." Ragnar said walking toward me.
He examined it thoroughly. His fingers burned my gash. I wasn't feeling so good. I began to cough and blood came out.
"Uh-oh." Ragnar said.
"Uh-oh?" I asked.
"There's still burning metal inside your wound. I have to take it out, otherwise you die." Ragnar said.
"That's comforting." I said.
My vision was blurring. I fell to the ground. Toothless ran to me. However, I had passed out already.

Toothless had to lick my face a couple of times before I actually woke up. My wound was still bad. However, Ragnar did put some healing cream on it.
"Glad to see you awake." Ragnar said handing me a bowl of blood.
It smelled good. Since I was a Lycanwing blood tasted good so I chugged it down. I felt better after it.
"I'm glad you passed out. Otherwise I would not have been able to remove the bits of metal in your spine." Ragnar said.
I looked at the pieces of metal. They all had something on it. I took one of each and matched them up. Toothless seemed to be intrigued by my work. It formed a symbol. A dragon biting its tail. Ragnar opened his eyes and looked at it.
"I should've know." Ragnar said.
"You've seen it?" I asked.
"It's the mark of a rouge Lycanwing. His name is Kenkra. He's been on my tail for a while. He must've hired Borg." Ragnar said.
His face turned emotional after that. He reeked of sadness.
"He's the reason I bit you. I needed your help to stop him." Ragnar said.
"Why me?" I asked.
Ragnar put his hand on my chest. He smiled.
"Your heart. I could smell it off you. You have a strong noble heart." Ragnar said.
I did the last thing I expected to do. I hugged Ragnar and he hugged me back. I guess now I can trust him.
