"Are they alright?" I asked franticly.
Astrid told us that Kenkra took over book and that he's allied with Vigo and Krogan. This is a catastrophe. Vigo an Krogan are already impossible to beat on their own. But together? They're the worst enemies yet. However, I do feel like Vigo was harder than Krogan.
"Yes. He won't hurt them. But he definitely wants to kill you two." Astrid said.
"I figured." Ragnar said.
I hope they're okay. This whole adventure was taking a dark and ugly turn. We almost arrived at Berk. The place was like a hive of dragon hunters. Some were on Singetails; those were Krogan's men. The others were the average dragon hunters; easy to beat. There were lots of hunters and lots of crossbows, catapults, ballistas, and spears. This place was buzzing with weapons.
"How are we going in?" I asked.
"There has to be somewhere we can enter without getting spotted." Ragnar said.
I looked and saw a small outpost with only two dragon hunters. That could be our way in.
"What about there?" Astrid asked pointing to the out post.
"That could work. We'll need to take out the hunters." Ragnar said.
"Why don't we grab a snack?" I asked.
Ragnar smiled at me. We grew our wings and flew off as Astrid followed us. We perched onto the outpost at the top so no hunters could see us. We pounced on top of them I used my claws to slit his throat. Ragnar probably had the better way; he ate the dragon-hunters head. I sucked out a couple blood drops, just until Astrid came.
"Where are they keeping everyone?" Ragnar asked.
"In the great hall. He has the dragons in separate cages around the far side of Berk." Astrid said.
"We should probably free the dragons first." I said.
"Agreed." Ragnar said.
We flew over. I grabbed Astrid with my claws. I saw many cages and heard many dragon calls.
"I'll go check around." Astrid said disappearing.
I smelled many smells, but one smelled very familiar. Toothless. I ran over to where he was. He was in a cage far from most. Guarded by many dragon hunters. But for a Lycanwing they were just food. I felt the power of the full moon. I was beginning to change.
"I guess we should both dress for this occasion." Ragnar smiled.
"It seems appropriate." I replied.
We both began to change. This was the first Time I saw Ragnar change. He looked the same as I did, but bigger and for some reason his shirt didn't come off. Good news is that in the transformation it was still me. I am in total control.
We attacked the dragon hunters swiftly. Their arrows bounced off of our skin. Our tails strangled them and threw them like ping pong balls.
"I've always wanted to play ball." I said.
"Okay, catch." Ragnar said throwing the hunter with the keys using his tail.
I caught him with my tail I grabbed the keys with my hand. I threw him back. Ragnar threw him back to me. We did it for a while. Until we decided to open the cage and free Toothless. I ripped of the cover. My nose was right. Toothless was there. He growled happily.
"Hey, bud." I said patting his head along with scratching his head.
I was about to rip of the lock but an arrow shot at me and pinned my hand to the lock. It burned. It nailed my hand to the lock.
There were so many hunters surrounding us. Vigo walked through the crowd.
"Hello, Hiccup. You fell for the classic Maces and Talons tactic." Vigo said.
"And how did we?" Ragnar asked.
"Traitors are everywhere." Vigo said.
Astrid walked through the crowd. She looked terrible. No.... Astrid was the one that led us here.
"Astrid? No..." I breathed.
"Hiccup--" Astrid began.
"Now, now, Hiccup. She didn't really have a choice." Vigo said.
"I guess we have to surrender." Ragnar said.
That I agree. We couldn't fight all of these hunters. I'm kind of pinned to the cage.
