"Are you sure this is safe?" I asked.
We were standing on the edge of a cliff. It rained heavily on us. He told me that I could change even before a full moon. He told me that this is the best way to learn control. However, I didn't see why.
"Hah. It's not supposed to be safe. It's supposed to activate your instincts." Ragnar said.
"Okay, but isn't there a better way?" I asked.
"Not that I know of. This is the way I learned. Good luck." Ragnar said as he pushed me.
I felt the air around my skin. It was all around me like a net. I felt my body spiral. The wind was pushing my body in all directions. The rain felt like mini daggers on my skin. I was getting out of control. I was getting close to the ocean. I closed my eyes and only concentrated on the air. Calm, quiet, and changing. I soon felt something come over me. The fear soon faded. I opened my eyes. I flipped my body. Only a few feet from the ocean, I felt my wings emerged. I managed to fly from the ocean and all the way up. The air was like a cold blanket.
"Whoo-hoo!" I yelled.
This must be how Toothless feels. I flew to the edge of the cliff. Ragnar was clapping.
"Congratulations. It took me way more than one time." Ragnar said.
"Thanks." I said.
My wings went back into my back. The scales disappeared.
"Want to get something to eat?" Ragnar asked.
"Yeah. I could eat." I said.
