AN: Picture and music above!

Oitnemid warily trailed behind his brother as he was led all the way up to Flopside Tower. They both stepped into the elevator as the doors opened and remained quiet as the doors shut behind them. As the elevator ascended, Oitnemid found himself unconsciously touching his unmasked face because of how unfamiliar it was to him. Oitnemid kept side-glancing at his brother, or rather at the count, not knowing exactly what all to even say to him.
The elevator came to a halt and the doors slid open once more. The count ushered Oitnemid out of the elevator, slipping off his trenchcoat as he did. Oitnemid gulped and followed behind still, not wanting to get left behind or even separated. The count tucked away his trenchcoat, revealing a black dress-shirt below, as he stepped up to the large dimensional door.
"Step through here, Oitnemid," he told him.
Oitnemid felt a little color drain from his face as he took a frightened step backward.
"Y-you want US to g-go through that door at the devil's hour?!" Oitnemid questioned.
The count sighed and shook his head.
"Please, stop acting childish. I have lived here for the past almost five years," he replied with a smirk. "The only ghost living there has been me ~ Ah ha ha ha ha!"
He laughed at his joke while Oitnemid continued shuddering, opening the door and stepping inside, disappearing from view. Oitnemid took a deep breath in, brought a hand to his chest, and let a long breath out.
"Okay, it's fine, just follow your brother into the door to the condemned castle, it's fine," Oitnemid nervously laughed.
He nodded to himself and strode inside, struggling to remain confident. The count was waiting on the other side, the castle gates already opened for them both.
"Once you're done with your breathing exercises, feel free to meet me in the Inner Sanctum," the count said with a mischievous smile.
He turned and walked inside, leaving Oitnemid to pick up the pace. Oitnemid sighed and reluctantly trudged in after him, secretly saying in his mind that he could do without his brother's sarcasm and such. However, Oitnemid did have to admit that he also missed it dearly. The very fact that he was out of Oitnemid's sight made the latter panic as if thinking he'd lose him again.
After everything, Oitnemid was determined to never let the two of them fall apart again.
Oitnemid now found himself in the mirror hall, which made him gawk in astonishment at all of the reflective surfaces around him. He turned his gaze ahead and finally reached the Inner Sanctum. Oitnemid creaked open the door and stepped inside to see the count standing in front of him over a large hole in the ground.
"Um... Not to be rude, - DEFINITELY not to be rude! - but what exactly are you showing me, brother..?" Oitnemid asked.
"Just follow me down," the count replied with a grin.
Without another word, he lept down into the massive hole, sinking below Oitnemid's line of vision into what looked like a dark abyss. Oitnemid began to tremble a little as he walked up and peered over the edge.
"Y-yup! Like a loyal servant, I'm r-right behind you! Ah-ha..." Oitnemid laughed nervously.
Oitnemid nodded to himself and shut his eyes as he leaped down after him, clenching his fists to help him focus on slowing his fall. After a few brief moments, Oitnemid was relieved to feel the solid ground below his feet, and even more relieved that his levitation slowed him so he didn't splat against it.
