Almost immediately, whispers and gasps erupted from the audience, which soon turned into loud chatter and conversation. No one thought that they heard Dimentio properly, not even Albert, who was currently trying to clean out his ears. Oitnemid slammed his gavel down repeatedly, trying to get everyone's attention.

"Order in the court!" Oitnemid exclaimed. "Everyone calm down!"

Albert turned to face Dimentio, his voice lowered.

"Assuming I heard you correctly, are you allowed or even ABLE to do that?" Albert questioned.

Valentine tilted her head in confusion while both Timpani and Edalius seemed to tense up, their breaths caught short. She glanced between her mom and brother, perplexed by their reactions.

"What? What's wrong? Why is everyone acting like this?" Valentine asked.

Edalius leaned over to her, his voice quiet with a hand over his mouth.

"He's calling our father as a witness," Edalius whispered. "Blumiere..."

Valentine gasped in response, the weight of this finally settling in. Oitnemid waited a moment as the audience finally began to quiet, the initial shock wearing off. The judge cleared his throat and turned to address Dimentio.

"Okay then, and on what grounds do you have to call him as a witness?" Oitnemid questioned.

"On the grounds of knowing him for many MANY years, including the fifteen years past my incarceration," Dimentio stated.

Oitnemid hummed in response, placing a hand on his chin in thought.

"Motion carried," Oitnemid replied.

He smacked his gavel down and snapped his fingers. Instantly a ripple came to the air and a figure appeared with a chime accompanying the spectacle.

Everyone in the audience gasped as none other than Lord Blumiere stood behind the desk beside the judge's pedestal. He looked a little ragged, and his face was quite a pale blue. His clothing was slightly tattered, but not terrible, and his top hat was gone, revealing dark blue hair that had gotten rather long.

"You may now call your lawyer to the bench, Dimentio," Oitnemid stated.

Blumiere's light blue eyes darted around the courtroom, glancing every which way to try and figure out where he was and how he had been taken. Albert walked up in front of the desk Blumiere was now sitting behind and cleared his throat.

"Oh! Hello, young man. And who might you be?" Blumiere asked politely, although he appeared nervous. "Also, where might I be..?"

"I can't really say much, but my name is Albert and I am your friend Dimentio's lawyer and need to ask you a few questions," Albert said in a hushed voice. "Also, this is Sarasaland's royal courthouse."

Blumiere hummed and readjusted in his seat, giving him a smile.

"I believe that I can do that," he replied. "Ask away, Albert."

"Right." Albert paused to clear his throat. "Lord Blumiere, you went under the alias of Count Bleck for the whole time you first met Dimentio, correct?"

Blumiere cleared his throat and tugged at his collar, not expecting such a question about that right away.

"Um... Yes, that is true," Blumiere responded, averting his gaze to the floor.

"And under the alias of Count Bleck, you were with Dimentio, and apart of the Chaos Heart incident?" Albert inferred. "After these events occurred and the Void closed, was Dimentio a 'criminal bent on revenge' as many assumed and claimed he was?"
