I think Liza has shown herself very emotional in the previous chapter. Anyways, let's move on to the story.

I woke up early in the morning so I decided to take a walk. I passed the fountain, the infirmary and so many cabins that I lost count. I was amazed by how green Aresten was.

Some havens were hanging around in the ground near our cabin. From the corner of my eye, I saw a guy about Olivia's age who looked exactly like her with his round eyes and messy, brown hair. He was sitting at a bench, looking over at a group of haven guys. I remembered what Tyrek had said- Every haven has a twin brother or sister. I don't know how much time passed and I kept staring at him.

I came back to my senses when a friksen flapped his wings at my face and landed in front of me. I felt Oliver's gaze falling on me and he stood up to go to a stable kind of thing.

The orange friksen that I had ridden the other night bowed down his head. I guessed he was asking me to sit on him. I climbed his back and he took off before I could adjust. Another friksen flew beside me.

"Lucy?" I heard the guy on the friksen say. I looked towards him and there sat Olivia's twin brother. "It's Oliver." He said.

I was kinda shocked to see him talking to me. It was normal for a guy to talk to a girl, right? Why couldn't I say anything? Maybe because I'd never had a chat with a guy.

"H-Hey." I managed to say.

"Where's Liza?"

A guy finally talks to me and asks about my sister. Great! "She must be snoring in our cabin."

A smile tugged on his lips. I blushed, thinking I'd said something wrong. "Where are we going?" I asked.

"To the grounds at Havenland. I believe you landed there the day you came."

I raised my eyebrow. "How do you know about us? Do you even know that we are...?"

He nodded. "Lucy and Liza, the Bravens, daughters of Lirila and Lesin who ran away. That's your surname by the way- Braven."

Oliver's friksen touched down to the ground and so did mine a few inches ahead. My friksen lowered himself for me to get down. While doing so, I slipped. Yeah, I know, real girly move. Oliver caught me and steadied me. That was enough for me to turn completely red.

"So, Lucy?" Oliver said and started to laugh.

"What's so funny about my name?" I grumbled.

"No, see the girl on the friksen. She doesn't even know how to sit on it."

I looked towards where he was looking. And I was sure the girl was Liza.

"Um...she is my sister."

He squeezed his eyes and his eyes widened. "I didn't notice. I- I'm so sorry." And he did look sorry. He was nothing like his sister.

"Hey, it's okay. Liza has to learn not to embarrass herself."

I chuckled and he joined too.

"Why did you leave me alone?" Liza said, running towards us. She placed her hand on my shoulder.

"I took a morning walk and was carried here," I answered in short.

She nodded and seemed to notice Oliver for the first time. "And who is he?"

"Oliver. Olivia's brother. Didn't she mention me?" He replied

We shook our heads.

"As expected. We don't get along much." He said and cursed himself under his breath. I think for telling us.

I looked around to find the whole population of havens gathering in front of a stage. "What's going on?" I asked.

"They're gonna announce your presence."

I remembered what Liza had told me about breaking out the news of us arriving. As if in queue, Tyrek took the stage and cleared his throat.

"Before starting the competition, I would like to announce something very important." Tyrek looked towards us and gestured for us to come on stage.

I looked towards Oliver for help but his gaze was fixed on the stage. Why was this happening? I didn't want to be the talk of the day. I was normal, wasn't I? Why was this such a big deal? Somehow, I got my feet to move and dragged Liza with me.

"We all know about the message." He continued when we reached the stage. "And we've found the two special havens."

Everyone started muttering to each other and I started shifting uncomfortably, shivering slightly.

"Welcome the bravens!" He finished as he pushed us forward.

They all stared at us. No claps. No nothing. I grabbed Liza's hand for comfort. "H-hi," Liza said, waving her other hand.

Olivia came on stage. "They will save us from whatever's coming for us." That seemed to raise their spirits a bit. They let out a short cheer for us.

I managed a smile. Finally, that scary moment ended and we were taken off the stage. I let out a loud sigh. That was one moment I wished to never remember.
