When I woke up, I felt like I needed to remember something. But I didn't have time to think about it because my bed started shaking. Everything slid from one side to the other. I held onto the floor, trying to keep up my balance and not lose my mind. I reached out for the doorknob but it was far away from me. Water rushed into the ship. We were sinking. An announcement played on the speaker:

Passengers on board! Please make your way to the basement of the ship for rescue.

"Great advice! If only I could get out of this room." I heard someone shout. It was Liza. She must have been in the same condition as I was. In a matter of seconds, we would be down in the ocean, sinking into darkness. I was determined to save the world and if I couldn't get out of the ship, it would be impossible. I had a plan ready in my mind.

As soon as the bed came towards my side, I jumped onto it. When the bed was sliding back to the door, I grabbed the knob and turned it. The door opened, sending me to the end of the ship. Olivia, Oliver, Liza, and my rooms were side by side so I shouted at them out the same process I used to get out. The first one to be out was Olivia. She was going to crash into me but the ship tilted again, making us slide to the other side. Just after that, Liza came out and crashed into us. Now only Oliver and Nexiana were left. We couldn't wait for them. By the time they would, we would already be dead. The only chance we had was to go ourselves to get them.

"We have to go get them," I told the others. "I will get Nexiana and you both go for Oliver."

"No way!" Both of the girls shouted at the same time.

"What if something happens to y- AAAAAA?" Liza said when the ship almost flipped.

"You know what? Let's do it." Olivia announced.

We held onto a pillar and took small steps towards the rooms. Nexiana's room was closer than Oliver's. It took a minute to reach her room and I could feel the whirlpool slowing down. I turned the knob and Nexiana stumbled out, slamming into me. I looked toward Liza and Olivia. They were a little further away from Oliver's room. I was going to move to his room when a huge fist hit the ship. The whole ship broke and all of its parts flew along with us.

We all were drowning, what I had feared the most. We all sank deeper and deeper. I tried to breathe by some miracle but it wouldn't happen. I could figure a shape coming toward me. It was a boy. My eyes closed before I could see his face.

I was moving on water. I realized it was a boat. Then it stopped abruptly. I was moved to a softer surface. I heard my name and my eyes fluttered open. Standing above was a very familiar face- Liza.

"She's alright!" Liza cried out with delight.

"Wh- What happened?" I stammered, coughing out saltwater.

I sat up. We were on a piece of land in the middle of the ocean. Everything was white ice. I could recognize three people- Liza, Olivia, and Nexiana. There was someone else. I could tell he was a haven. He was someone from the earth group with his emerald eyes. He looked frightening because of the deep scar running from his forehead to his lip.

"Well, you drowned. And I saved you." The guy answered. He said 'I' like he wanted a big thanks from us and a feast for saving our lives.

"Who are you?" Olivia asked. Even she didn't know him? Who was he? And what was he doing on Earth?

"Rislerk Mansolin from Earth group." He held out his hand. Olivia looked skeptical but she shook his hand.

"But why did you save us?" Nexiana questioned him.

"I was bored of sitting here alone and heard a BOOM! So I went to check. Saw you guys drowning and decided to save some lives."

Wow, that guy had a way with words.

"Thanks for the rescue." I genuinely thanked him. "Oliver-? Wait, where's Oliver!?" I panicked. We all looked around for him, except Rislerk, but he was out of sight.

"Did you see my brother drowning too?" Olivia grabbed Rislerk's collar and shook him with all her might, maybe trying to make him remember Oliver. It was her theory. Only she knows.

As soon as Rislerk was going to give a response, a giant decided to rise from the ocean. It was the tallest I had ever seen. We all jumped backward.

"Oh no," I said, shaking my head.

"Oh no no no no no," Liza said at the same time.

"I guess, we have the same reaction to the giant."

"If you see it from my angle, you'll be like 'Oh no no no no no'." Liza motioned her hand in a come-come motion.

I slid over to the right to see it from her angle but it was the same for me.

"Looks the same to me."

"If only you notice Oliver on its back."

I slid over again and saw him, Oliver, on the giant's back.

"Oh no no no no no," I said, my eyes widening.

Rislerk pushed us back. He muttered a word and a bow and arrow appeared in his hand. He instantly aimed the bow and arrow towards the giant's chest and shot the arrow. It passed an inch from Oliver and hit right in the middle of the giant's chest. The same light that had burst through other giants exploded within this one too and it fell into the ocean. Rislerk dived into the water and came back with Oliver on his back. He threw him on the sand. Hard. Olivia checked his pulse and sighed with relief. We all were safe and fine.

Olivia stood up and crossed her arms. "Now, how did you find the giant's pearl so quickly."

Rislerk started to reply but he got interrupted by Oliver again. He coughed and stood up, wobbling. When he came back to his senses, he pointed to Rislerk. "Who are you?"

"The lifesaver of all the people present here." He answered.

"Rislerk, I asked you something." Olivia reminded him.

"At the place where the pearl is, you can see a purple glow or bruise. The same purple as the pearls' aura."

"Hey! I was just going to die and you all are chilling as if nothing happened. Would someone care to explain?" Oliver shouted, pouting.

We told him about Rislerk and the giant who attacked the ship. He intently listened. When we finished he stared Rislerk up and down.

"I feel like I've seen you somewhere." He said.

"Obviously you have," Rislerk replied. "When that giant hit your ship and you all were drowning, I was there. I noticed you the first."

"Then why didn't you save him along with us?" I yelled.

"Well, you see, I like saving pretty girls."

I rolled my eyes. He definitely wasn't easy to live with.
