I didn't know why I said that she didn't need to worry because Olivia was with me. I guess I just wanted her to be happy that I trusted Olivia.

When I held the sword, it released some memories which I didn't remember. I saw mai playing with us. We were probably 3. She took me in her hands and kissed me on the forehead. She did the same with Lucy. The memory changed. We were 8 in this vision. We were having a picnic on a hill. It was the one Mai loved the most. A lot more memories flashed before my eyes- Lucy laughing, mai and abba smiling at us.

When we left the cabin, we took off on a friksen. There was a huge giant (huge giant? Seriously?) waiting for us outside. Most havens were fighting him already and more joined with their weapons.

Malirin joined us, fresh wounds on her face. She was still wearing her armor. "Does that monster have a weakness?"

"Did you ask Tyrek about it?" Olivia asked immediately.

"He says that they have sent one of the giants. He's gone to the library to get some information."

"It's okay. Malirin, you go and fight that giant. They need help. I will stay with Liza to instruct her."

She nodded and charged at the giant. Olivia turned to me and grabbed my wrist. We ran to the bushes.

"I think they don't have coordination." I pointed out. All of them were attacking the giant anytime and anywhere they wanted.

"We've never had to fight a real enemy before. It was always so peaceful."

"So what do we do? It's not like we can become invisible. Or can we?"

"Great idea, Liza. But we can't."

A boy fell to our side. I recognized him. He was the one who I had tried to talk to before the start of Aten & Fenu. He was badly injured on the leg.

"Someone has to take him to the infirmary," I said, not daring to look at him.

"We will, right after the fight," Olivia responded.

"But it is serious." I insisted.

She sighed. A girl passed by us, looking scared. Olivia called to her, "Nexiana! Take him to the infirmary."

Nexiana did as she was told. Anything to get out of the battle area, I guessed.

Olivia looked toward me. "Liza, you are our only hope. You might know something. I know you can do it. The message can't be wrong."

I grunted. They kept mentioning the message but wouldn't tell us what it was. But that wasn't the time to get mad. "What should I do?"

Olivia grabbed my hand in a hurry, took out a pearl, and raised it to the sky. We disappeared and appeared on the giant's head. We grabbed his hair so that we wouldn't fall off. Many arrows were being shot at the giant, which were hitting us too. We deflected some of them with our weapons. My sword suited me perfectly. It was the perfect size.

We were doing great but we couldn't do it forever. We had to defeat this thing. We had to kill it. When I was going to deflect another arrow, a sudden feeling of disappointment hit me. Like someone had made me sad. In a couple of seconds, I saw a vision. There was a giant and everyone shooted arrows at it. It was the same scene that was happening just now. The vision zoomed in to show a purple pearl hanging from the giant's neck. I suddenly opened my eyes. I was back in the bushes with Olivia.

"You fainted. What had happened?" She asked as soon as she saw my eyes open. A few more havens were present around me.

"I-I saw a vision," I explained, trying to understand what it meant as I talked. "There's a pearl. Hanging from the giant's neck." I paused to look at everyone exchanging looks. "Before that, I felt sad. Like someone I loved had left me alone."

One of the boys from the water group looked at me. He looked about ten years old. "I think you were sharing emotions with your sister. What you saw must be what she was thinking."

Olivia nodded. "That pearl must be the giant's weakness. It has to be its life force." She looked towards an earth girl. "Shoot an arrow at the pearl." She commanded.

The girl did what was asked. She entered the battlefield with confidence and ordered everyone to make way. Concentrating on her target, she pulled an arrow and shot it. It hit the pearl perfectly. Light shot out from his neck and it grunted, falling to the ground. No movement.

Everyone stared at it with their mouths open, then started cheering. All the screaming died when they saw Tyrek. He held somebody in his hands. Everyone gathered around him. I gasped to see Nexiana in his hands.
