Elisse and the group of friends she's with are all happily enjoying their meal until Jongin and the rest of his friends approached them with evil smirks plastered on each of their faces. At first glance, you'd literally know that they're all up to no good. Jimin immediately stood up from his seat and started escorting Elisse and her daughter to avoid any interaction with the nine men coming towards their table, but Chanyeol and Yixing was quick enough to block their way.
"Leaving already, bro? We just want to talk to that adopted woman beside you". Jongin spoke while approaching them.
"You don't know what you're talking about Kai, so shut the fuck up because you're blurting out nonsense". Jimin defended.
"Jungkook won't lie about Elisse being an adopted child, right?". When Elisse heard what Jongin said, it immediately made her knees weak.
There's nothing wrong about being adopted. It's actually the bestest things to ever happen for children like Elisse who has parents but couldn't afford looking after a child. To be loved by people who aren't your biological parents like you're their own blood and flesh is something every child will forever be grateful for. To be adopted is great for children with no parents, especially when you're in good hands.
But being adopted is something Elisse doesn't want to talk about with other people. The feeling of not being wanted by her own parents brings her too much pain. She ended up telling Jungkook about that information of herself because she trusted him and he promised to protect the things she wanted to remain as secrets. Yet here she is, hearing Jongin say that Jungkook was the one whom told them about Elisse being adopted.
"Is that all you wanted to say, Jongin? Not gonna lie, you're a bit fucked up in the head". Jimin told him with no hesitation.
"Being adopted is okay. Don't tell me you're right here standing infront of us just to embarrass Elisse for being an adopted child?". He told Jongin.
"Wake up bastard, your mindset shouldn't be like that for somebody who study in the same prestigious school as me, it's bringing the whole school shame and bad luck". He added.
"Look who's talking. Bro, you're literally right here taking care of somebody else's trash. Isn't that more shameful? Have some respect for yourself, you're basically destroying your own dignity for a woman who will never love you back". Jongin fired back, making the people in the cafeteria laugh.
"Don't speak too high, Jongin. Not to me at least". Jimin spoke in a very serious tone.
"We know damn well who's much more capable of doing anything and everything between the both of us". He told Jongin.
"You basically lived half of your life under someone else's assistance, who's obviously only their for you because they were all getting paid for doing so. While Elisse on the other hand, despite being an adopted child, is loved by her parents until now. But you my boy, basically lacked everything she have. You could get all the luxuries but not the simplest things in life". Jimin said.
"For goodness sake, you arrange dinner appointments just to meet your parents, they rarely check up on your well-being. Yet you're right here wanting to embarrass a woman who has amazing parents despite not being blood related to them". Jimin continued, roasting Jongin even worse.
"Do yourself a favor and leave along with your eight puppets. Your egoistic ass would probably not enjoy getting roasted more". Jimin told him.
"Who the fuck do you think you are to tell me what to do?". Jongin said and held Jimin by the collar of his uniform.
Jongin's friends was about to grab Elisse but Jimin's friends prevented them from doing so. She held her daughter securely in her arms because the thought of Haven getting hurt scares Elisse in so many levels, she'll go crazy and would probably never forgive the person who'll hurt her daughter.
"Go and inhale fresh wind outside, Elisse. I'll follow the both of you after I deal with this piece of crap". Jimin said before placing a kiss on the baby's forehead.

Jimin standing up for Elisse is not new. The woman always had him behind her back. He defended her multiple times through a bloody fist fight. Elisse sat down on the wooden bench at the back of the school. Being a teenage mom is not easy, and never once recommended. It makes life a bit more challenging but very worth it when you see your child growing up healthy, happy, and strong.
"Slipping through my fingers all the time, I've tried to capture every minute. She keeps on growing, sleeping through my fingers all the time". Elisse started singing before caressing her daughter's soft hair.
"Sometimes I wished that I could freeze the picture. And save it from the tricks of time". The baby is smiling so brightly at her mother, as if she could understand what's being sang.
Tears started flowing down from the woman's eyes as she continue staring at her child. Elisse is extremely hurt by what happened. Jungkook hates her so much that he's fine on letting everybody know the secret she trusted him with. She didn't want to cry in-front of the other students. Them seeing her weak and vulnerable would only encourage them to bully Elisse more.
"In a world full of cruel human beings, at least I have you all for myself". Elisse told her month old daughter.
The young mother continued wiping away the tears she couldn't control from falling. Everything that kept on happening in her life continues to drain her will to live. She is indeed still too young, but her problems in life make her seem older than her real age.
"We'll live a happy life, Haven. Just you and me. I promise to give you a good life, way better than mine". Elisse embraced her daughter and continued crying, the weight on her heart is just too heavy for her to not break.
