Dear diary,

Yesterday was one of the best day of my life. First of all, we've one the Science fair and next is that Astrid my number one crush just asked me out. Because of what happened I don't think that I'm a nerd anymore. But still yea I'm proud to be a nerd. I am just a cool nerd I guess.

Today, Astrid texted me and she told me to hang out with her. We're going to watch some movies, walk together, boy am I excited.

Later on, I've decided what to wear. I've always like to wear these red checkered shirt with black pants. So I wore this. It looks so nerdy but I really love this. I mean, this is who I am, why do I need to hide?

Hiccup went out and he didn't notice that Jack was there. "Hey nerd, think fast!" Jack threw a piece of cream pie in his face. Luckily, Hiccup managed to dodge it.

"Whoa, you just had a date and now you're being so "alert" right now," Jack teases.

"Date? No, no, me and Astrid are just hanging out today," Hiccup said. Jack came towards Hiccup and puts his arm in Hiccup's shoulder.

"Oh come on, can't you see the chick likes you too?" Jack said. "What? Why would she like me?" Hiccup asked.

"Look, don't you know that Astrid Hofferson didn't ask any guys to hang out with her? Even me," Jack asked.

Hiccup was shocked. He didn't want to assume that Astrid likes her because he doesn't want to get hurt.

"Dude, we're hanging out and that's it," Hiccup said. "Fine then, enjoy hanging out with her. I'll see you around man," Jack said and gave him a fist bump before he went away.
Hiccup breaths deeply and he was ready for his day with Astrid.

Hiccup went to the mall, and saw Astrid sitting on a table.
He was surprised because she was all alone. He was expecting friends or family. "Alright Hiccup, you can do this. Don't blush, don't do anything stupid and don't talk about star wars," Hiccup said.

He came towards Astrid. She smiled at him as he came closer to her. "Hey there genius," Astrid greeted. "Hey," Hiccup greeted back.

"Uhm, have a sit," Astrid said. Hiccup took a sit. He couldn't look at Astrid because he was nervous.

"Hey, don't be nervous. I'm not gonna bully you," Astrid said with a smile. Hiccup nodded to her.

"So, what do you want to do first?" Astrid asked. "Well, anything you want," Hiccup said. "Oh, let's go eat first then we'll watch a movie and walk in the park, sounds good?" Astrid asked.

"Yea, sure," Hiccup said. "Yey! Oh my gosh we're going to have lots of fun," Astrid shrieked. Hiccup's heart was beating fast. He didn't like that feeling because he could past out anytime.

Later on, they went to the movies. Hiccup wanted to watch Star Wars but he knew that Astrid wouldn't want that. "Two tickets of Star Wars please," Astrid said. Hiccup's eyes were widened, surprised by her choice. "Come on, let's go. I really love this movie, do you?" Astrid asked. "Super," Hiccup answered. He couldn't hide the excitement and joy that he have.

After that, they walked along the park. Hiccup was wondering of why Astrid is sad. He knew that this girl was that always happy and bossy in school. "Hey you okay?" Hiccup asked. He managed to ask her that because he wasn't doing the first move all the time. "I think I need a sit," Astrid said.

Hiccup nodded and escorted her to a seat. They both sat down, and still Astird was sad. "Is there something wrong? You can tell me anything," Hiccup asked. Astrid stared at him.

"Promise me you won't tell anyone about this?" Astrid asked. Hiccup nodded. "It's about me, you know, I've changed a lot because of you guys. I'm so sorry if I ever bully your kind. I was such a spoiled girl, but thanks to you guys. Everyone thinks I'm crazy right? I don't even think I'm still that popular? So, I'm asking you. Should I pretend to be mean at school so I could be popular?" Astrid said.

"Let me ask you this. Do you want to be popular?" Hiccup asked. "I don't know," Astrid answered. "Hey, let me tell you this. When you were that mean girl, yes you're popular but only to boys and other girls. But when you're that different girl, you're popular for the people like me. So you don't need to be mean, because I believe that in our school, everyone is popular," Hiccup said.

Astrid cried a little. She gave Hiccup a hug. "Thank you, thank you Hiccup," Astrid said. Hiccup is now more comfortable to Astrid. "I ugh, I need to go home,"Astrid said. "Alright, I'll get you a taxi," Hiccup said. "Don't worry, I'll drive you home. I have a car," Astrid said.

Hiccup just took the offer and rides in Astrid's car.

Hiccup was the first one to went home.

Merida and Rapunzel was in Jack's house. And they looked out the window to see Hiccup.

"So, you live here huh," Astrid said. "Yea, it's ugh not to big," Hiccup said. Astrid giggles. "Alright, I guess I'll see you at Monday," Astrid said.

"Okay," Hiccup said. Astrid hugged Hiccup. He blushed, but only for a while.

He was going home, but Astrid wanted to call him. "Hiccup!" she shouted. He turned back and saw Astrid biting her nails. "Hey, it's everything okay?" Hiccup asked. "I just--uhm," Astrid couldn't speak. "

Hey, what is it?" Hiccup asked and looked worried. "You know why I didn't notice you back then?" Astrid asked. "No," Hiccup answered.

"Its because...I like you okay? I know, you're a good looking nerd but I was just afraid that if I tell them I like you they'll just get away from me. But now, I don't care what they think. And I know that you don't like me, after what I did to you," Astrid cried.

Hiccup was in shock. He couldn't believe it. Astrid Hofferson, the bully in school liked a nerd like Hiccup. He hugged Astrid. "You know Astrid, I liked you ever since. Even if you were a bully...I'm just scared that you might not like me," Hiccup said. Astrid giggles. She hugged him back tightly.

"Oh boy, the nerd has his lucky day," Jack teases. "Oh come on," Merida said.

They both went home happily. Hiccup was having the best day of his life, now he has something to write in his diary again.

Hiccup went to his room and shouted. He is so happy that he knew Astrid liked her. He can now sleep tight at night.
