The Big Four: Goes to School

The Feels (Rapunzel's Diary)

Dear Diary,

Two words. Flynn Rider. 

That is all that I can think of all day. The way he taught me in class, he made me feel like I'm so special because it was also his first time. I hope I made a great impression to him. Why am I thinking about him so much?

Rapunzel is only be able to practice cheer leading for two months, which is not enough time since she's only a beginner. She knows that, still she continues to work with it. 

She went early to school to search for Flynn Rider. Rapunzel ties up her hair and wore her uniform. She saw Flynn talking with the coach of the team. He looked at her and waves his hand. She smiled widely and waved back at him. 

"Come on, I need to impress him," Rapunzel said.

Merida was proud for Rapunzel, but she noticed that Rapunzel was acting a little bit weird lately. She saw her very happy and her face was a little bit red when she always walks out the gym. 

"Ugh, she's been acting so off lately, well not really off. I mean she's been so giggly about something. I need to ask Jack," Merida left her classroom since it's early to enter class. 

She went to the football court to find Jack.

"Heads up!" Jack shouted. A football accidentally hits Merida's head. 

"Aw!" Merida fell down. Jack shakes his head and smiled a little. 

"Sorry 'bout that," Jack offers his hand to Merida for her to stand up. 

"Ya did that on purpose, grrgh!" she took Jack's hand and stood up. 

"What's up?" he asked. 

"I need to talk to ya about something," she said.

"Oh, uhhhh, about what?" he asked.

"It's Rapunzel, she's been acting all weird lately. She uhhh, she always seemed so happy and giggly whenever she comes out that gym. It all started when she practiced this cheer leading," Merida said.

"So? Maybe she's just glad that she can finally do what she wants you know," Jack said

"Look, it's not just that. Whenever she comes out that gym, her face is always red. I know what's going on okay?" Merida said.

"What are you talking about?" Jack asked.

"I know there's only two people in that gym. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. He's her coach and teacher, and when she and you weren't together back then, she always talks about him and she told me that she had a crush on him," Merida explained.

"Oh, is that all?" he asked. 

"Wait, yar not mad? She has a crush on him!" she shouted.

"Hmm," he said.

"Wait, can I ask ya something?" she asked.

"What?" he said.

"Do you like her?" Merida asked.

"Yea," he answered.

"But...do ya love her?" she asked again.

"I don't know, I wasn't feeling anything more for her," he answered.

Merida clenches her teeth and raised her eyebrow. "Why you!" she slapped Jack in the face and attacked him. 

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Stop! What the heck are you doing?" Jack shouted as he block's Merida's attacks.

"She's yar girlfriend! You're supposed to love her!" she shouted.

"Whoa, geez! Calm down okay? Look, you set me up to be her boyfriend okay? I never signed up for anything else, but isn't liking her enough?" he asked.

Merida stopped and breathes heavily. She stood up and sat on the bench. 

Jack followed her at the bench and sat beside her. 

"I'm sorry...I just, I want to love her but I also want to be honest," Jack said.

"Why can't ya just tell her that ya don't love her?" she asked.

"I am not that person to bring it up to her, plus...she's been very kind. I kinda don't want to break her heart. But sometimes, when we're together, it's like we just like each other. Think about it, she never blushed in front of me or anything more. I am actually happy for her. I just, I'm not that kind of person, I hope you know that someday someone would love me and I would love her," Jack said.

"I...I'm sorry I attacked ya," Merida said.

"I'm a football player okay? I always get attacked," he chuckles. 

"So...what now? Are ya gonna tell her?" she asked.

"Well, not now. But if she comes up to me and tells that she likes him...then I'll let her go," he said. "Well, I have to continue practicing, thanks for bringing this up to me," he pats Merida's shoulder.

Rapunzel's POV

I am doing my first cartwheel and I really really wanted to impress him. I took a deep breath and all I'm thinking right now is that I really want to see that smile on his face. So I raise both my arms and started to flip. 

I can feel my body bending and hurting a little bit, but I am actually improving. 

"Wow, I can't believe you made that cartwheel for just two days! You are reo,ally into this are you?" Flynn started to become excited. 

My heart is pumping so fast. I can feel his excitement. 

"I am! Oh I am so into this! Thank you so much!" I accidentally hug him. Oh no, is it alright with him?

"You're welcome, I'm glad I can be of help," Flynn hugged me back.

Oh no, why am I doing this? Why am I feeling this way? I can't. l let go of the hug but not immediately. 

"Um, I'll just go get my stuff and get a fresh air, can I?" I asked.

"Of course, take all the time you need. This is cause for a celebration," he said.

I just nodded at him and smiled. I hurriedly went outside to look for Hiccup or Merida.

I saw Hiccup on the canteen so I hurriedly went after him.

Rapunzel ran after Hiccup. 

"Hiccuuuuuuuuuup!!!!!!!!!" Rapunzel shouted. 

Hiccup was just eating his sandwich, where he almost choked. 

"What the heck? Rapunzel, you scared me," Hiccup said while his hand is placed in his chest. 

"I don't know what I'm doing! I need to talk to you," Rapunzel said.

"About what?" he asked.

"It's about Flynn...I uhh, I think I'm starting to like him," Rapunzel sat down.

"Oh, that...aren't you supposed to talk about that with Jack?" Hiccup asked. 

"I know...but I just, I wanted to talk with you," she said.
