The Big Four: Goes to School

Who was it? (Hiccup's Diary)

Dear Diary,

This is yet one of the worse things that had happened to one of my friends. I just can't believe someone warned Merida just because that person wanted to break our team down. Well, it's not going to happen. I'm going to find out who it is. It's more like an investigation, like in the TV shows or movies, and I've dreamed of doing it but right now? I don't know. It's hard for me to see my friends like this. From now on I'll be Luke Skywalker, but modern version I guess.

All of the teachers and staffs were busy for the upcoming event, all of them are doing invitations, designs, activities, programs, and others. This is the chance to find out who warned Merida about the date. The three was left in the classroom, they told Merida if she can buy them art materials for the project and for the event, Merida wanted to be alone for awhile so she agreed. 

"So, who do you think it is?" Jack asked. "I don't know, maybe Audrey?" Rapunzel asked. "Right, but there are lots of students that hated Merida, even now," Hiccup said. "What about Astrid? She hated Merida for a long time," Jack suggested. "No, she wouldn't do that. She even told me about the rumor, I trust her okay?" Hiccup said. Jack just smiled and nodded. "It's hard to know, I mean maybe someone is backstabbing us," Rapunzel said. "What do you mean by that?" Hiccup asked with his eyebrows raised. 

"We have lots of friends now, and we're one of the biggest threats. There must be someone doing these things to bring us down," Rapunzel answered. "Okay, right now we need to split up. And one must convince Merida to tell us who was it, how 'bout you Rapunzel?" Hiccup asked. "I asked her already but she didn't listen to me. I don't know what else to do," she answered. "Don't worry guys, I've got this," Jack said with confident.

Merida was in the hallway with no other students. She was bringing the art materials for their project. She was just walking along, but a strong grip has gotten into her arm. Jack pushed her gently against the wall and locked her in his arms. "Jack? What are ya doing?" Merida asked without even panicking. "Tell me who is it," Jack said. "Who what?" Merida asked. "Who warned you," Jack answered. "I just told ya, no one did," Merida said. "Say it or else," Jack said. "Or else what?" Merida raised her eyebrow. 

"I'll kiss you," Jack said. Merida just stared at him. "I'll do it," Jack said. Merida is still staring at him with a blank expression. Jack closed his eyes and leaned closer to Merida and their faces were few inches close to each other. Suddenly, Merida taped Jack's mouth. She pushed him and Jack accidentally hit his nose on the wall. "Aaaaw!" Jack shouted. "See? I knew ya were gonna do that Jack, I know ya. Hmph, so predictable," Merida said and left. Jack hurt his nose badly so he went to the clinic.

Jack went back to the room with a band aid in his nose. "Oh my gosh, what happened to you?" Rapunzel asked. "I'm fine, it's just I hurt my nose," Jack answered. Rapunzel hugged Jack. "Dude, what did you do?" Hiccup asked. "I was just trying to make her tell me," Jack answered. "So, you tried to kiss her?" Hiccup asked. "I wasn't going to, I just...ugh, I didn't know she was gonna tape my mouth and push me," Jack answered. "Hmm, we have to find another way," Hiccup said. 

Later on, Hiccup investigates every room and sections. He suspects Audrey because she also hated Merida before, but now she was a huge fan of their group. The next is Victor, one of the nerds that adores Merida once yet hated Jack because of jealousy, or it may be the mean girls or the cool guys. Hiccup was confused, he doesn't want to point fingers. "Hey Hiccup," Astrid surprised him. "Oh! Hey, how you doing?" Hiccup asked and scratched his head.

 "Well, I kinda want to help you guys about Merida," Astrid answered. "You don't need to, you helped us enough," Hiccup said. "Well, I just want to make it up to her. I mean, going to Brooklyn was one of the best days of my life because I said sorry to her, and now she's my friend. And friends don't let each other down, right?" Astrid said. Hiccup hugged her tightly. "Okay, but tell me what you're going to do okay?" Hiccup agreed. Astrid nodded to him in response.

Merida was all alone in the cafeteria, she said she wanted to have more time for herself. Rapunzel was starting to worry for her. "I wish I could help you," Rapunzel said. When she was about to walk away, she saw Merida getting up and it looked like she was in a hurry. Rapunzel become suspicious so she followed Merida without being seen. She saw her going to the hallway, and entering the gym. All of the students were allowed to bring gadgets. Rapunzel heard Merida calling someone from the phone. She can't hear it clearly but Merida was yelling.

"Look, I already agreed to it alright? Just let me be," Merida said. Rapunzel raised her eyebrows. "I'll just meet you later in the locker after class when no one's there," she said and hang up her phone. Merida went to the restroom while Rapunzel hurriedly ran outside. She went to see Jack and Hiccup in the lab. Hiccup and Jack put their attention on Rapunzel. 

"Rapunzel?" Hiccup asked. She was breathing heavily as she runs out of air. "Guys, I saw Merida in the gym, and she was like yelling to someone on the phone," Rapunzel said. "Yelling? You mean, she was talking to someone on the phone?" Jack asked. "Yea, and I heard she said she agreed to it," Rapunzel answered. "Agreed to what?" Hiccup asked. "I don't know, but she said that she's going to see that person in the locker after class," Rapunzel answered. "This is our chance, we need to get there before Merida," Jack said. "Okay guys, we'll do this together. For our friend," Hiccup said. They all put their hands on top of each other as if they were a team.

After class,

The lights were off in the hallway and no one was there. The three sneaks pass so that they'll see if someone is there. They brought flashlights and went near the locker rooms. They hide behind the table and waits till someone's there. "Rapunzel, are you sure about this?" Hiccup asked. "Positive," Rapunzel said. Jack was just playing with his flashlight and whistles. "Ssh, quiet," Hiccup said. "Oh, sorry," Jack stops. Later, they heard footsteps coming close to the locker. Then they saw someone, it wasn't Merida. "Who is it?" Jack asked. "I don't know, I can't see. But we can't use our flashlights either," Hiccup answered. "It looks like a girl," Rapunzel said. It was indeed a girl. They knew that was the person, she was just leaning on the wall like waiting for someone. 

"I can't take this anymore, let's get her," Jack said. "No, we can't," Hiccup said. Jack shakes his head. "Fine, I'll do it myself," Jack ran towards her and she started running. "Wait!" Hiccup shouted. They were all chasing her and she was fast. "Is she athletic or something? Holy cow," Jack said. Later, they all split up and finally they caught her. The girl was wearing a mask. "Let go of me," the girl said. "Let's see who you are," Jack said. They all removed the mask and they were shocked for what they have seen. "No, it can't be," Rapunzel gasps.

"Violet?!" they all said in unison.
