The Date Night Part 2 (Hiccup's Diary)

This isn't good. It's my fault why she got hurt. I am so stupid, but I should've known. But I know too...that Merida just needs to get over Jack. I'm not saying that she needs to get over him that easy, of course it's the first time for the geek. But I guessed she just not like Jack anymore, she loves him. Because she wouldn't react this way.

Hiccup's POV

Merida and I went to my school room to just calm down. She can't stop crying, and I felt so bad for her. I didn't know how many times I say sorry to her. She just can't sometimes talk back at me.

"D-don't worry Hiccup, it's not yar fault. I know ya didn't know, but I guess that's for the best. No one will ever like me," Merida cried. "Hey, that's not true! Don't say that, you're smart and beautiful," Hiccup comforts her. "I know that, except the beautiful part. I just  said that because I'm sad," Merida smiled. Yea, she's definitely crazy about this guy. I know what she saw in him, he can be a jerk sometimes but I know that when he just messes around with her, she loved him even more. I've seen it in movies and it's real. It's sometimes about a player falling in love with a geek or a popular guy falling in love with a geek. And there's always these types of groups, of course. I didn't realize that I would experience a life in a movie, and it's tough all right.

"Why can't you forget him?" I asked. "I'm trying to Hiccup. I thought it would be easy because I'm a cold type of person sometimes, but I just can't. When he jokes around me, it made me hate and like him even more. Ya know when I like him, I hated myself because I know it's not right, because Rapunzel is my best friend and all," Merida said. "Falling in love with someone isn't wrong, it's normal. But what you did was so right, that it hurt you so bad. And that's part of life, you can't just find a potion to make someone fall for you. I mean I like Astrid ever since! But still, I can't approach her because I want people to approach me sometimes, that's when I know if she's the one," I said.

Merida just smiled at me, still her tears kept on falling down on her face. "Thanks, I'm glad I have a nerd friend," she said. I pat her back and gave her a big smile. I know she's not yet fine, but still I made her feel a little better. "Come on, let's go. I think all we need to do now is to know who's behind all of things. Even if Jack and Rapunzel's not here," Hiccup said. Merida showed her serious face and nodded to me.

Later on, Hiccup and Merida went out the room. "Alright, let's go!" Hiccup whispered loudly. "Hey guys!" Jack called. Merida cringe and closed her eyes. "Where'd you guys been?" Rapunzel asked. "Well, we're about to say the same. We came looking for you guys," Hiccup said. "Oh, we just went to the other room," Jack answered. "Hey, are you alright?" Rapunzel asked Merida. "Y-yes. I'm fine, I just feel a little dizzy that's it," Merida answered. "Do you need to rest? Or a medicine?" Rapunzel worries. "No, no. It's just this dress I guess," Merida shakes her head. Jack smiled at her. 

"You guys, me and Merida are going to investigate. You guys wanna come?" Hiccup asked. "Yea sure," Jack said. They all went downstairs to search for clues. They know that those students were planning something to make the other team lose this competition. Hiccup went upstairs to look for clues, then he saw Mavis' team giggling, but Victor's team seemed suspicious too. "Hmm, I need to think about this," Hiccup said. Three teams went to a room, Hiccup took a look at it seemed pretty normal. "Ready for the surprise later?" Hiccup heard Victor's voice from the other door.

"We need to do our plan tonight okay? Just as what it's supposed to for this party," Mavis' voice said. Hiccup seemed confused, but he needed to watch over the two. Hiccup hurriedly went downstairs and went to the dessert station, where the three are. "Guys, I think it's Victor or Mavis' team," Hiccup whispered. "How did you know?" Jack asked. "I heard them, but I'm not sure yet. Mavis is talking about a plan, and Victor is planning for a surprise," Hiccup answered. "Well, I'm pretty sure it's Victor alright," Jack said. "We're not sure yet, but we need to keep our eyes open," Hiccup said. They all nodded.
