The Big Four: Goes to School

The Real King and Queen (Hiccup's Diary)

Dear Diary,

Never have I ever done anything like this before. I am now looking for someone who tried to beat our team, I have two suspects which I didn't mean suspects it's just a term that I've been using. It's either Mavis' team or Victor's team. I need to know who.

"I now have the results, and first of all I would like to thank you all for coming in this evening, it's been an honor for our school to have all of you. Now the Queen and King of the date night will have a huge points for their team and it may lead them to the top," Mr. Claus opened the card. All of the students were so excited and they all cannot wait for the results.

"The King and Queen of the date night are...Mavis and Johnny!" the team cheered as they heard Mr. Claus' announcement. The others were a little curious, but still they gave them a round of applause. Mr. Claus got the crowns and put them in both of Mavis and Johnny's heads. "Something's not right," Hiccup felt it.

"Wait, what're you saying?" Rapunzel asked. Hiccup ran towards the stage and grabbed Mr. Claus' microphone. "Hello! May I have your attention?" Hiccup shouted. The students hurriedly looked at the front. "Mr. Haddock, what are you doing?" Mr. Claus asked. "I know this is going to sound crazy, but one of the students wanted to knock us down. There was a team who forced Merida DunBroch not to attend this date night which will deduct our scores, but she didn't do it because we promised that we are going to find someone who was planning to break our team apart....and who cheated to the top," Hiccup answered.

The students gasp in surprise. "Mr. Haddock, this has never happened before, are you telling me that there were students that cheated?" Mr. Claus asked. "Mr. Claus, I want you to look at every piece of that paper inside of the voting box. And look at them one by one, let's see if this team really won this night," Hiccup said. Mr. Claus can't believe, but he agreed. He called one student to count all of the votes. Mavis was looking curious at Hiccup.

After waiting, the student was finally done. "Mr. Claus! Hiccup was right, all of the votes are Mavis and Johnny," the student shouted. Mr. Claus got angry so he took the microphone back and asked the students, "Who voted for Mavis and Johnny?" Mr. Claus asked. Only five students raised their hands. Mavis and Johnny was completely mad. "Both of you are a disappointment not just in your team...but in this school. Take of your crowns, because of what you did, I will deduct your points. I will take away 10 points," Mr. Claus said.

"What!? No! That's too much!" Mavis shouted. "What you did was too much, and now you will lose that much. Both of you, I need you to go in my office tomorrow, I didn't want to ruin this night just because of you two. And because both of you are here, I want you to enjoy this night while it lasts," Mr. Claus said.

Mavis and Johnny ran down and covered their faces. They were embarrassed and the other students were angry at them. "Hiccup, I wanted to thank you for your honesty and bravery. It is our first time someone actually said something like that. For that, I will make you the King of this date night. You deserve it," Mr. Claus said. Hiccup was shocked, and his team were so happy. "Mr. Claus, I never expect this but...thank you. But wait, who will be the Queen of the Night?" he asked. Mr. Claus smiled at him. "It's your choice," he answered. Of course, Hiccup looked at Astrid, and he pointed at her. Mr. Claus agreed and Astrid was very glad. She hurriedly ran up the stage and hugged Hiccup. Mr. Claus put both of the crowns in both of their heads. "Have a great night everyone!" Mr. Claus shouted.

The students cheered and their joy continued. "Wow, King of the Night," Jack smirked at Hiccup. "Thanks guys," Hiccup said. "Thanks for what?" Rapunzel asked. "If I wasn't in this team, I wouldn't be this awesome," Hiccup said. Merida punches him in the shoulder. "Aw!" Hiccup groans. "Show-off," Merida smiled. "You guys are the best friends ever," Hiccup said. "Heh, of course. We're your only friend, remember?" Jack said.

And finally it was all done. I literally can't believe that I won in this wonderful event. I lifted up my team and now I felt like Luke Skywalker and not Darth Vader for the first time. I felt like a hero, but I guess me and my team are all heroes. We look out for each other and we are the best team ever. I never really wanted to win or lose, it's like it doesn't matter to me anymore, all that matters is that I have friends, we're together and that's it. I hope this will end really well. This is the life that I've always dreamed of, having real friends and having a love of my life. Astrid was like one of the biggest thing that has happened to me. After years, I finally had a girlfriend, she is my first by the way . 

Dad was proud of me when I got home. He saw the crown on top of my head and he fell down the floor, he was unconscious for one hour. He can't believe that I finally won something different, and this is a really huge thing for me because this will be the last date night in my high school days. I was expecting Jack or Rapunzel, and I never expected myself but who knows. Even the nerds can be king, even the losers can be winners. We can't tell, all we have to do is believe in ourselves and in the end, we will achieve what we've dreamed of.
