Dear Diary,

It's the next day of making our project for the Science Fair, and still we haven't worked out other things yet. The fair is after three days, so we really need to team up on this one. I just don't want to screw things up, well...technically I usually don't mess things up. This is for my future, and for my team. I won't let them down, even though Jack seems bored in our project and not trying to help the team. I understand that he couldn't understand technologies or science, I just want him to ask me of what he's supposed to do or he could just help the team of his own instead. I don't really need to tell him what to do, I need to see if he really cares about this team.

Early morning, Jack knocked on Hiccup's house. He hid his diary and grabbed his jacket. "Who's there?" Hiccup asked as he went down the stairs. "It's me! Luke Skywalker!" Jack said while making a sword slash sound. Hiccup shook his head. "I don't watch Star Wars you know," Hiccup said. "Then how did you know Luke Skywalker?" Jack asked. "Mhmm, I'm just thinking that you were just teasing me because I'm a nerd," Hiccup answered. "Haha! You are so smart, but really...even if you're a nerd, you're a cool nerd," Jack said. Hiccup sighs, as the sign of his tiredness. "Look, from now on...I'll help you guys, and I'll stop being so cool," Jack said. Hiccup's eyes were widened as he looked at Jack. "Wait, are you doing this because you just wanted to help? Look, if you want to help, you don't have to change," Hiccup said.

Jack breaths deeply. "Look, that's not it man. It's just that, I think you're way more cooler than me, and I don't want to be hated," Jack said. "Look, you are the coolest kid in the school, and no one hates you, everyone loves you right? Our team is one of the best," Hiccup said. "You don't get it, I'm just popular in school, but in the outside world, people see me much different. They think I'm stupid and show-off, I just...I want to change myself," Jack said. Hiccup looked at him. "Don't Jack...you are who you are, and you don't have to be a nerd or a genius, even I am hated by lots of people, it's because they don't know who you are yet Jack...think about that," Hiccup said.

Jack just smirked at him. "I guess you're right, maybe I'm just not good enough at giving ideas," Jack said with a smile. "Actually, being a nerd is an idea, but not for you," Hiccup said. Jack puts his hand on Hiccup's shoulder. "Hah! You are such a cool nerd!'' Jack shouted. ''Aaah, shut up," Hiccup said.

They both went to their rooms, and Hiccup saw Astrid. "Hey Hiccup," she greeted. "Oh...hey Astrid," Hiccup said. Jack can see in Hiccup's face, he knew that his heart was beating fast and he was too nervous, so Jack laughed silently. "So, how's your project?" Astrid asked. "Uhm, pretty good actually," Hiccup scratched his head. "Wow, you've changed your glasses, you look cooler," Astrid said. Hiccup blushed. "Oh, really? Thanks," Hiccup said. ''Alright see you, we'll just hang out," Astrid said. Astrid turned her head forward. Hiccup just can't stop staring at her.

"Alright you guys, the project needs to be done soon, Jack?" Merida asked while giving him a death glare. "Hey, don't worry...I'll do whatever you guys say," Jack said. He puts his feet on the desk. Merida just pushed it down. "Whatever," Jack sighs. Hiccup went in the classroom, bringing the extra materials to the project. "Alright, we really need to finish this work okay? According to the list, we're second on the Big Four," Hiccup said. Merida and Rapunzel gasp. "Are ya sure about that?" Merida asked. "Precisely! The first one are the Group 2, we just need to catch up, Astrid's team are third," Hiccup said. "Okay, so let's begin this! I can't wait to see this finish," Rapunzel said.

They all started to work on their project, Jack was helping, but with a bored look. "Jack? You okay?" Rapunzel asked. "Oh...I'm fine, I'm just," Jack said and sighs. "Is there something you want to tell me?" Rapunzel asked. Jack looked at her. "Yea...it's about me," Jack said. "Well, go on," Rapunzel said. She turned her chair towards Jack. "It's just that...I'm not really into these things, that's why I get so bored sometimes, even if I need to control myself from being bored, I still can't," Jack said. Rapunzel puts her hand in Jack's shoulder. "Hey, I understand you Jack...and don't worry, this project will be done soon enough, and you don't have to be bored anymore," Rapunzel said. Jack breaths deeply, and he continued his work.

Later, Jack decided to go home early. "Oh, going home already?" Hiccup asked. "Yea, I'm a little tired, and I have some assignments to do," Jack said. "Alright, well...be careful alright?" Hiccup said. Jack said goodbye to the two girls. Hiccup smiled as he knew that Jack was helping them.

After working on the project, Hiccup decided to buy Jack some gift for helping. "Hm...a hat should be nice," Hiccup said. He bought the hat and wrapped it. He wanted it to be a surprise, so he went to his house. Hiccup was about to go in, but he heard something in the house. There was music inside, and the lights were all on. Hiccup walked towards the door and knocked, but no one answered, so he decided to go in. He saw Jack playing guitar and some chips all over the sofa. Hiccup got mad. Jack was shocked, so he stopped playing. "Oh, Hiccup! I uh...didn't know you're going here," Jack said. Hiccup dropped his bag. "What is this Jack!? What are you doing? I thought you were tired," Hiccup said. "I uh...I was, I was just bored, and um," Jack said looking all over the place.

"You can't lie to me Jack! A tired person could never done this! Did you do this because you were bored?" Hiccup asked. "No, it's not like that," Jack answered. "But it looks like you're bored...we could've finish the project if you didn't go home like this, playing guitar, eating chips...Jack, we are running out of time! This project is important to me!" Hiccup shouted. "Look! I am trying my best here! It's not like I know something about that project! I just can't control myself! At least I'm helping, isn't that what you want?" Jack said. "I wanted you to help Jack...but not like this," Hiccup said. Jack's eyes were widened, and his jaws dropped. "That's it...if you don't want to help, fine! You'll like this anyways," Hiccup said. He shuts the door and left the gift on the floor. Jack sighs and looked at it. He sat on the sofa to relax.

I really can't believe that guy! He is such a liar, and a lazy person. Ugh, I don't care if he doesn't want to help anymore. I am fine with Rapunzel and Merida. I trusted Jack in this project, I just can't believe he lied.
