Haru's pov
______________________________________Haru didn't know what to do, Ari was hurt and Persephone was nowhere to be seen, on the top of that the isle of dawn looked liked a hellish wasteland.
He was sitting inside a cave filled with butterflies, watching Ari sleeping peacefully, using Haru's cape as a bed and her own cape as a pillow.
"We'll find Persephone" Haru said to his younger sister "Don't worry"
Ari snorted and her eyes snapped open "you're so cheesy when Im hurt" she snickered weakly
"Seriously" Haru said "even after getting hit by a large branch your still teasing me?"
Ari shrugged "I can't help it"
Haru stood up "Ari, I'm going to find Persephone and some food, is it okay for you to stay here?"
Ariadne's eyes widened "What? But I want to help, what if you get hurt, there's krills out there!"
"I can handle myself, besides krills have terrible hearing, they can't hear me as long as I don't shout"
"What about their blue light?" Ari retorted
"I can avoid it" Haru said "and in the worst case scenario...if I don't come back, you can keep my cape, you know, to remember me"
Ari opened her mouth but she didn't say anything. Haru has won this time.
"Mind letting me borrow your cape?" Haru reached out to the pink fabric where Ari's head was resting on.
She sat up and winced slightly in pain "I'll let you take it, just don't...stain it or anything" Ari said, not taking a glance at her older brother at all.
Haru stood there, it was clear that Ari was worried for his safety. He took the cape and placed it on his shoulders
"I'll come back, I promise"
