Ari's pov
______________________________________
'Well that was depressing' was all Ari could think as Agatha said those words Ari couldn't help but feel pity to the fallen king, at the end of the day the king is technically an elder too,and with saving elders being their job now they sort of already failed

Those thoughts kept on buzzing in the back of Ari's head as she, Persephone and haru were on the path towards
Elder Daleth's temple, though Ari could barely move, the second they said their good-byes to Agatha and left the cave, isle of dawn had turned into a forest thick with darkplants even if there weren't any crabs and krills(yet)
The darkplants were enough to slow them all down "well, here we are" Persephone said staring at the large castle-ish thing in front of her, from the looks of it,it's been a while since daleth has touched the place,it had cracks in the walls and was infested with cobwebs while a strong mildew smell lingers in the not-so-fresh air that made Ari gag "aack- that smells horrible, who knew that elders didn't clean their temples-"haru shot Ari a glare that clearly meant don't be disrespectful Ariadne that Ari responded with an eyeroll, like why would have to be respectful towards something that's definitely not thinking straight, haru was about to say something when Persephone did it first with an slightly aggressive "cut it,you two" which was enough to silence Haru and Ari "instead of arguing every five seconds how about help figure out to open the door" Persephone said having enough of Haru and Ari's bickering "fine" muttered haru as he pressed his had on the door "so what is it?" Persephone looked at him,but he didn't respond which was a sign that he was thinking Ari and Persephone learned to not disturb him when he does this, after some minutes of thinking, theorizing and laying down in boredom haru had finally figured it out the loud sound of click-clack had scared Ari who was both looking out at the view "next time, give a warning" Ari said as she gave her brother a look, haru ignored her and continued his conversation with Persephone "the door, it was powered by fire so I just used the candle to-"
"Haru! The doors open already" Ari snapped at him impatiently "no need to shout, Ari" he replied as the trio walked towards the huge open door behind the throne that led to daylight prairie
