Persephone's pov

"Persephone,wake up!"
Persephone woke up and saw Haru and Ari, both of them were out of the minecart
"Look were here!" Ari said as she helped Persephone out of the minecart
"were in where?"
"Were in Vault of knowledge!"
Persephone looked around, the blue tint around them was a sign they have reached their destination

Persephone noticed that they were in a hallway that was empty no doors no chairs no anything except for a skykid walking nearby
"This is vault of knowledge? I expected it to be much more...lively" Persephone lowered her voice so that she wouldn't offend the spirits
"You and me both" Ari said
"I'll go ask the skykid over there for directions" Haru said walking towards them
(Haru's pov)
"Excuse me can any of you-"
"A another skykid? It's been so long since we've last seen one since I last seen one, are you the only one here?" the skykid said
Haru cleared his throat with a dry cough "I'm not the only one" Haru pointed to Ari and Persephone
"I see,what brings you to this place?" The skykid asked
Haru glanced at Persephone's bag and gave the spirit a brief summary of the current events
"The elders...corrupted? Well that does explain what happened earlier..." The skykid muttered

"What happened earlier?" Haru jumped, Ari and Persephone were suddenly right beside him
The skykid sighed and tapped the wall in some sort of pattern "--- .--. . -."
An opening appeared in the wall
"Come" the skykid said as they went towards it
Haru and the others immediately followed

Ari's pov

The skykid led them to a tunnel that was covered with glowing murals
That described The King,The Elders, Darkstone,Mantas,Krills and the constellations for each realm
"Woah" Ari was filled with awe
"Beautiful, aren't they? One of the scholars made them" the skykid said
Ari wondered about what the skykid said
what happened earlier
what did happen awhile ago?
Then Ari got her answer

The Blue tint was flushed away with a bright red,dark particles flew freely in the air,A sign that meant the presence of dark creatures
As they reached the end of the tunnel
Ari got a clear view of the area

Ari expected Vault of Knowledge to look serene and calm but with the aggressive red feel a lack of windows made the area feel suffocating

"Ah, where are my manners I'm Alina"
The skykid said as she gave a little bow
"I'm Persephone,this is Haru and Ari"
Persephone said patting them on their backs
"Uh,hi" Ari said while she did a depressing attempt to bow
Alina giggled a little "that wasn't a proper bow,but you tried and I appreciate that"
"Right so... How are we supposed to reach the highest floor?" Persephone said gazing up "we have to light those lamps (is that what they were called?) over there" Haru pointed to the ones nearby. "Well,your not wrong that's the traditional and formal way of climbing the vault but..." Alina went towards a wall and knocked it again
This time it had a more complicated pattern and Ari wasn't able to catch up with it this time

With a few creaks a long stairway spiralling upwards revealed itself
"How many secret areas does this place have!?" Haru said in shock
Alina smiled "too many to count, now follow me"

Haru's pov

"So Alina how did you find about all of that?" Persephone asked as they climbed the stairs
"I was raised here and the spirits agreed to teach me what they know so I'm technically a mini scholar at this point" Alina said "and since they taught me that I guess they just thought ' hey let's tell Alina all of the secret tunnels '" Alina continued
"Are all the spirits here Scholars?" Ari asked. Alina shook her head "there's a bunch of weirdos in starlight desert,one of them is a geographer but they sneeze every five seconds and barely pay attention to what's around them" Alina said, her footsteps echoing loudly with each step

Persephone and Ari continued asking Alina other questions

"Are you the only skykid here?"
"No, I'm the only one living here but there's some in starlight desert"
"Did you meet any of the elders since they sometimes have meetings here?"
"Sometimes they come here,I've already spoken to Sahmek,Lamed and Daleth before,I have seen Tsadi more than once but I can't bring myself to speak to him,he looks scary"

Haru sighed, the dull pain in his legs were starting to become sharp
"This is it, were in the last floor"
Alina said before once again knocking on the wall,this time it was a single knock
