Persephone's pov
______________________________________
The moment Ari and Estella we're out of earshot Lydia started interrogate the trio. "Why are you here and what are those yellow orb things" Lydia used her firework staff to lift Persephone's chin up forcing her to look at Lydia's sharp grey eyes
"Estella saved haru from a krill and decided to take us here" Persephone looked at the staff warily, it wasn't a weapon like a sword or bow but firework staffs have this tiny needle in the edge that helps shoot fireworks (in-game firework staffs don't actually have this,it's just part of my headcanon) and those things get real sharp, since Persephone didn't wish to turn into a skykid kebab she told the truth.

Lydia's eyes shifted towards haru who
Suddenly tensed at this action like Lydia was some sort of rabid crab ready to shred him into millions of pieces"she's telling the truth, really!" Haru said, his voice higher than usual
Lydia gave an unconvinced look as she turned to face Persephone once more "now these orbs your carrying, what are those"

Persephone and Haru hastily explained about Agatha the spirit and the orbs purpose, as she spoke Persephone ran out of words to use, luckily haru would back up when that happens, though he was speaking like a two year old who had just learned to talk. Then again a conversation with hey did you know that the elders are now corrupted which means that we are marching towards our doom as the main topic didn't sound easy to explain

When they were done Lydia lowered her firework staff which sent relief spreading all over Persephone "I believe you" Lydia said, her words made haru raise an eyebrow "just awhile ago you didn't believe about Estella saving me but you believe all of that?" Lydia gave a slightly offended look at haru "of course, the sudden turn of events, krills appearing in daylight prairie out of thin air, skykids falling to corruption there had to be an explanation to all of it somewhere" Lydia said, walking back to her spot in the corner awkward silence filled the room once more as hopelessness filled Lydia's face
