Persephone did not enjoy riding at the back of kairi  (Estella's giant bird) more than once did she almost drop the light orbs to the abyss below and the feeling of riding on something so feathery made Persephone feel way out of her comfort zone, the fact Estella is completely fine with this  question her way of thinking "SO,Estella!" Persephone shouted over the roar of the wind,trying to not sound rude "how are you fine with riding on top of thi- kairiwhen
we skykids can already- you know, fly?"Estella turned around to have a quick glimpse of Persephone,"because since the elders are now corrupted by darkness,and that their light is tied to the realm they rule,it messes up the realm too so-"   "Estella please just get to the point already" Persephone said, irritated by Estella's talkativeness
Estella went to the point,her voice stiff "the sudden amount of darkness caused some skykids too.. corrupt as well" Estella's words made Persephone's heart drop "and,well I used to have this friend and they just happened to be one of those unfortunate s-skykids...but I don't mind,I mean it happened quite a while back and there's still a way to bring him back to the light" the way Estella's voice cracked and avoided eye contact with anyone told Persephone that she was hiding her feelings,the fact that the cheerful personality might be a facade made Persephone regret that she was annoyed by her awhile ago "Kairi- this bird" Estella continued as she patted   kairi's head "used to be his, After the incident,I decided to go and take him under my wing- or cape"
Estella giggled but it sounded more like she was on the verge of crying
"I've been taking care of him ever since" haru probably knew that Estella might break down in that moment "Estella,you said we were going towards a place called the safe bunker,what's it like there" haru said taking the  conversations topic away from Estella's friend "heh it's nothing fancy- really,it's pretty small"Estella replied some of her optimism returning to her voice "kairi literally takes up have the space" Ari suddenly looked alarmed "are there any pillows in the safe bunker?" Estella laughed "well the ground is soft enough,if your lucky Kairi will let you sleep on him, he's as soft as a cloud" Estella said dreamily,haru opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted
