Ari's pov
______________________________________The cold, wet and painful rain of hidden forest was not a good combination with Valley of Triumph's harsh, knee-deep snow, and much like hidden forest they could barely see ahead of them
The wear and tear of travel was getting to them, Ari's legs and shoulders ached from flying and walking all the time, her hair tangled with snow, sand and twigs.
Persephone and Haru didn't look any better
Persephone's wisteria cape was slightly torn in the side, fortunately
The tear was small so Persephone could still fly with it
Haru's ponytail was loose, the fluffs of hair on top of his head that resemble the ear tuffs of an owl were on the verge of being undone, his white cape was stained by dirt and grass, his expression was still gloomy. Ari felt a twinge of guilt, what if the reason he's upset was because of what Ari had said about Lilith back in Isle of Dawn?
Ari stumbled in the snow as she walked, the feeling of guilt building higher______________________________________
Persephone's pov
______________________________________Persephone wondered about what would happen when they encounter the elders
Sahmek,Teth and Ayin would probably turn them into skykid mush
Tsadi would impale them with his spear
If the rumors were true, Lamed could
Summon a forcefield around Persephone and her friends and suffocate or squish them to death
Daleth could also impale them with his staff if he pressed it hard enough
And Resh-
Persephone shudderd, there's a reason why The King Is feared by the entire population of Skykids
Persephone wasn't sure of what he could do and she didn't want to know at all-
Persephone slipped and found herself sliding down a steep hill and pushed into a cave, where she was finally thrown into the sky, Persephone managed to slow her fall with her cape but it didn't really matter as she fell into ice cold waterPersephone got out of the water, drenched head to toe.
"You forgot this" Ari said pointing to Persephone's flower crown that was floating in the water, haru grabbed it and placed it back on her head
"Thanks- whoa" the blizzard was now weak enough for them to see what was ahead of themPersephone knew that Valley of Triumph had beautiful sunsets but the violent red sky seemed more destructive and scary rather than breathtaking and lovely
Strange dark dust were flying everywhere in the wind. In the corner of where they were in,which seemed to be an ice rink, was a group of darkplants growing
"So much for 'beautiful scenery'"Ari murmured. "Let's just keep going", haru said patting Ari on the back
Ari's reaction to what haru did made Persephone laugh a little, the siblings
We're patting each other again, soon they would be teasing again which was a sign that things were going to become normal between them soon______________________________________
Ari's pov (again)
______________________________________After what felt like hours, Ari couldn't handle it anymore "I think we should rest,I can't do this anymore" She whined "I agree" haru panted
Persephone looked unconvinced despite being tired herself "there's no where to rest in...wow that's randomly convenient" Persephone pointed to what was Infront of them
Ari squinted her eyes to make sure she wasn't hallucinating from the cold "is that a huge tent?"
Haru stretched his arms "well let's go and see if the person who lives their would let us stay"
