[A/N: Hey this is Erie, this is a super long awaited continuation and I am incredibly sorry that this is just a teaser. I know it's been over a year and I could explain, but I think I'll let that be for after the heavy editing.
Btw, major chunks are left out here but for what it is, I hope you guys can enjoy it and will be willing to wait a few more as I refine the older chapters and further improve this book.
Also as of now, I changed my handle to SunHareSkies and name to Sun. You may continue to call me Erie but from now on, I'll refer to myself here and on Quotev as Sun/Sunni/Sunhare Skies.
Anyway, enjoy!]
3rd POV
"Damn, that green guy nearly had my ear off with his mouth," Ace mumbled as he stretched his back.
"The wolf dude crushed my bones, that's for sure..." Deuce cracked his wrists.
The pair settled themselves within the woods in front of the botanical garden. They both were antsy ever since leaving the clinic after the whole ordeal. Luckily for them they were let off with a warning."I'm surprised, they were pretty lenient about the whole brawl… This place keeps surprising me," Deuce said.
"Who cares," Ace responded, "Now where the hell is (y/n) and Grim? They should be here by now?"
The two shared a quick glance, each reflecting worry within their eyes.
"Don't tell me they ran into trouble?" Deuce questioned with hope that it wasn't the case.
"Hopefully not, I think I'm too tired to work up another fight."
"Same, I guess…"

Not far from the destination, the other half of the group were making their way.
"Could yer pet stop hissing at me?""I am NOT a pet! And why do you care perv…"
Epel and Grim stared directly at each other, they were both on the same eye level due to Grim perching himself on (y/n)'s shoulder. (y/n) had hoped for a calm and relaxing walk to the garden but instead…
"Come at me and make me stop, shortie!"
"Yer only tall cuz yer sittin' on (y/n)!"
(Y/n) could only nervously chuckle as the two were having a stare showdown right by her. It kept the atmosphere livelier, which she was somewhat grateful for but only for a bit. When Grim started to move, almost throwing off her balance, she grabbed the feline and promptly set him down on the ground.
“Heh! Not so tall now~?”
“(Y/N)!? NOT COOL! YOU’RE PUTTING US AT A DISADVANTAGE AGAINST THE ENEMY!” Grim leapt onto the girl’s leg, attempting to climb back up onto her shoulder but failing to do so, “Come on (y/n)! Lemme… ugh… get up!”
She did not help him, instead she picked him up once more before placing him on the ground, “I told you Grim, Epel isn’t a threat. And besides, my back’s getting tired.”
Grim’s ears flopped down, “Why did you have to tell him that you’re… y’know…? I don’t trust that pipsqueak…”
“I can hear ya, y’know.”
Grim eyed me with a serious face, “See, you can’t trust an eavesdropper.”
(y/n) sighed, almost having enough of the cat’s nonsense and yet still having the heart to entertain him for a bit, “Lay off him, Grim. We owe him and he’s nice…” (y/n) glanced over at Epel who smiled at the small compliment, “Anyway, we should really get back to Deuce and Ace.”
