3RD POV

Grim jumped in pride, spreading fire as he wills. Though he was spooked by the two pursuers chasing after him, he luckily lost them in the maze of flames. He once again, cheered for himself.

The redhead and four-eyes, who were hunting for the cat, casted out spells to put out the fire but lost track of the little furball.

"This was a lot more trouble than I anticipated... Still this is surely a breeze for you, Riddle-san," four-eyes said while still gracing that sinister smile from earlier. His companion, Riddle, merely ignored the comment and was frankly casting out spells left and right while searching for the cat. Soon, he found the silhouette of the furball jumping up and down in joy.

"Azul, over there!"

The two second years nodded in sync as they reached the cat-raccoon.

Grim was surprised at first, but returned to his cocky demeanor seeing his two opponents somewhat burnt out. "Nyehehe, my power was too much for two students? Surely, I belong here."

Riddle readied his wand,"I won't let a trouble maker such as yourself attend this schoo-"

Riddle let out a harsh cough and dropped to his knees, Azul lowered himself to pat his fellow dorm leader's back.

Grim let out a loud roar of laughter, clearly enjoying his dominance. But it wouldn't last long.

Right when Azul was about to strike the pest with a spell, a big shadow appeared from behind the feline. (y/n) lept from the other side of the fire wall and tackled Grim to the floor, her body easily overpowering the cat's.

1ST POV

I did it... I DID IT! I CAUGHT THIS LITTLE VERMIN AND JUMPED OVER LITERAL FIRE! Still I couldn't celebrate just yet, as the raccoon was giving a fighting chance, spouting small bursts of fire and some of the flames reached my robe. I tried to press him down just a bit, but I knew I wouldn't be able to hold him much longer, with the fire crawling up my sleeve.

I looked up and saw two students, glasses and redhead, and tried to voice out to them. Luckily I was heard by glasses, and he tried shaking the other one kneeling on the floor. His companion lifted his head, and saw me holding down Grim and with a weak flick of his pen(?) he shouts: "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

As soon as those words left his mouth, a heart-shaped collar cuffed around Grim's neck and most of the blue fire disappeared; the only ones left were those on flammable materials, for example my robe.

"Nygah! The heck is this!?"

The redhead was able to stand up, with the help with his friend, and with a weakened but stern look: "Laws of the Queen of Hearts Number 23: 'One shall never bring a cat into a festival.' You being a cat means you've broken the rule. I shall have you leave at once."

I let go of the raccoon and fell to the side, still conscious. Flames still ate me up, but I couldn't bother lifting my hands and throwing off the cape. I didn't know how long I was laying there, but I seemed to disturb the little discourse between Grim and the other two.

3RD POV

"Heh! Until I remove that collar, you won't be ab-"

"Riddle, nevermind that pest," Azul nudged the smaller man to the figure laying, with flames engulfing their robes. Riddle's cocky demeanor faded out, as a look of concern was placed on the person lying almost lifelessly. He and Azul locked their eyes in sync with each other, and while supporting himself on his schoolmate, they inched towards the figure.
