the sun set across the fancy building and fairy lights lit up the outside area filled with kooks dancing with their families to the music.

i turned to see jj talking with sarah cameron 'the kook princess'

confusion filled me up as the two smiled at each other and laughed as he slipped her a carefully folded note.

the blonde boy began to make his way to me as soon as i caught his eye, acting as if i didn't just witness his shady interaction.

"didn't know you were into girls like that" i blurted out glaring my eyes at him as he chuckled before turning his eyebrows as he realised i wasn't joking.

he then cleared his throat before speaking "i'm just the messenger char, it's you're brother that's macking sarah cameron"

my eyes widened at the thought of my brother with her when she already has her kook prince boyfriend.

"besides why would i want anyone else when i have the girl i've always dreamt of having" he smiled causing me to relax and hug him tightly.

i pulled away analysing his freshly wounded face with cuts and bruises "your dad j?"

he nodded looking down, clearly not wanting to speak on the subject right now, i then placed my hand on the side of his face "it's okay, let's get out of here"

his restraint pulled me back as i went to take us both out of the midsummers event "dance with me please charley"

my face lit up in complete suprise "jj maybank since when we're you the type to dance at the snobbiest event of the year?"

he pulled me close putting one arm around my waist along with the other hand interlocking with mine, i flowed with his movement placing my hand onto his shoulder.
