i looked up at the blue eyed boy "promise not to hurt me" i said hoping i was different to him, "only if you promise not to break my heart princess" he challenged.

i laughed slightly locking our pinky fingers together forming a promise.

waking up in the mornings was the worst feeling. firstly, you dream of all the good memories getting the same butterflies in your stomach you got so used to. then, you wake up and look next to you seeing that they are not there. finally, it all comes flooding back like a waterfall of emotions.

today i had to face jj once again, no 'conversation' we had gave me any closure. we needed to speak alone to assess the situation.

i headed out to meet the pogues early, to find the gun through the sewage system.

"this is the north drain, it should've gotten washed into the gully" jj began "so, if it got flushed out from this drain it would've been pushed out to like-"

pope then finished his sentence "somewhere in this trash"

the rubbish was floating around in the dirty water not looking like it was appealing to sort through at all.

kiara gasped looking at the state of it "people who use plastic should be shot" she sighed.

"personally i love plastic" jj joked "use it everyday, love the stuff" i coughed abruptly and mumbled under my breath "the girl you slept with was probably plastic"

jj looked at me "what did you say?", i rolled my eyes not being entertained by how he was trying to act jokey with me.

pope and kie then bonded over his so called protection of the environment, leaving an awkward tension between me and the blonde boy.

after ages of collecting rubbish looking for the gun it was nowhere to be found signalling it was most defiantly in the storm drain.

jj and pope billed the gate to the drain open "in the sewer there's this worm that you get when you're down there, that would be a hard pass for me" jj announced to the group.

"i get it you guys are scared" kie laughed, "let the big guys handle this" i added on patting pope and jj on the shoulder.

kie crawled into the drain and i followed her behind, looking back at jj who was staring at my ass "don't look at what you cant have" i shouted at him.
