i awoke groaning overhearing pope and jj's conversation "they wouldn't still be patrolling if they caught him" pope reassured the blonde.

stretching my arms and yawning i stood up, grabbing pope's arm to look at his watch "two and a half hours sleep, wonderful" i rolled my eyes.

kie then sat up from the sofa she was lying on "you know, we were in that car. they're probably looking for us, too" she stated alerting us we should be careful aswell.

we all stood still for a moment until pope finally spoke up "well if we're gonna be outlaws, we might aswell help john b" he said he was getting gas for the boat grabbing the keys giving kie a stubborn look.

"what is your problem" the girl shouted following him down the steps as he replied saying there was no problem.

pope climbed onto the bike revving the engine loudly over kie's apology for hurting his feelings, as she kept pleading with him he eventually sped off ignoring her.

i placed myself by jj, holding onto my gunshot wound as it started to hurt once again.

out of no where, helicopter blades spun above our heads seeming like some law enforcement arriving onto the island, "who the hell is that" jj questioned approving of our confusion.

after scavenging kiara's food supplies, leaving with boxes for john b, we headed towards the car and unexpectedly faced confrontation from her mother asking where she'd been.

"we were up half the night, scared to death lookong for you, were you even gonna tell us!" she shouted at kie "have you seen what's going on out there! have you seen the storm"

jj and i got into the car as the two continued to argue, i could see kie become distressed and beginning to cry "john b needs me!" she screamed at anna "i'm sorry!" she repeated turning on the engine.

we drove off leaving anna banging on the car saying it wasn't safe and that the cops were armed. i put my hand on kie's shoulder helping her stay calm.

i did feel bad for anna, she had always been so kind to me, giving me a place to stay whenever i needed it, practically being a second mother to me.

the three of us then drove to jj's house "home sweet home" he spoke lowly taking his hat off and running his fingers through his hair stressfully.

"i'm coming with you j" i said getting out of the car taking his hand smiling back at kiara as he stepped out too taking his backpack.
