'be in touch P4L' is what the last message read after we were given the duty to clear john b's name allowing him to come home.

the four of us stood there for a while taking in the moment before dipping back into reality, i was gone and none of them looked for me "so what have you guys been up to" i asked quietly.

"look char" kie began "we had a lot going on, we didn't even know where to start looking so-"

i interrupted her "so you just didn't look, at all" i then turned to jj "are we even together?" i questioned the boy.

suddenly, everyone looked down "what? am i missing out on something here"

pope then spoke up "does being together mean you can sleep with other people?" it took me a moment to understand what he said and i fell into complete shock.

i stood up from the bench i was sat on attempting to form a sentence "sleeping with other people?" i fumbled my words looking at jj in disbelief.

"char" he whispered gripping onto my hand "i just went crazy after you left, thinking john b was gone i lost myself"

tears formed once again today and all i could do was just walk away. i made my way to the front of the school being spotted by leo.

"what happened?" he asked making me cry instantly at his words, "i just cant-" i tried to talk but nothing came out, he then put his arm around me and led me back to the house.

i sat in my room as nightfall approached. i didn't know what to do, is it cheating if he didn't think we were together?

it's not like we broke up, but it's not like we had any communication over my time away. my thoughts were then interrupted by rocks being thrown at my window.

i opened it seeing pope at my front lawn shouting up to me "charley, i know you hate jj right now and maybe me too but we've found something out that can clear john b's name but you need to come with us now" he gasped for air.

throwing a hoodie on i snuck out the window climbing down the water pipe at the side of the house running to the car with pope with little to no hesitation or regret.

i sat in the backseat next to jj as kie began filling me in on what they did "we found out the guy that flew the plane of the tarmac must have witnessed the murder of peterkin, and he took the gun charley" she said.
