Home Sweet Home I Guess

(Y/N) P.O.V.

     Home sweet home. The smell of the clean house was refreshing after being stuck breathing in the strong smell of cleaner for the past week at the hospital. I thought I would be tired on arriving home, but other than a slight sore feeling I felt energized and ready to go. With Shoto's big house I had a feeling he had somewhere to train either here or nearby. So before I made my way to place my stuff in my room I figured I'd ask, "Hey um Shoto? Do you have anywhere to train?"

       "Um ya it's in the basement. Why? Don't tell me you want to train right now? Don't you want to rest or have an early lunch?" He questioned with a confused look on his face.

         "Yah I kind of do want to train... I'll probably be hungry after that though then I could make lunch. If you're hungry you can eat now." I answered turning to go to my room to get some workout gear not expecting Shoto to say anything else, but I was stopped when I heard him begin to follow me.

        "Are you sure you shouldn't be resting more? I mean are you even cleared to go back to training?" He questioned behind me as he followed me towards my room.

         "Shoto it's cute that you're worrying but I'm fine. If you want to train with me then meet me there in five, if you're going to just keep worrying than busy yourself with something else until I'm finished." With that I shut the door to my room before he could reply to anything. I only realized what I had said as I began changing. I can't believe I accidentally called him cute. Well at least I didn't say he was cute I said his worrying is cute. Whatever he probably didn't even notice I thought as I made my way back out of my room noticing Shoto was nowhere in sight. I excitedly made my way to the basement curious to see what the set up was like.

Shoto's P.O.V

        After (Y/N) shut the door to her room I don't know what to think. I might as well train with her if I can't stop her from training to make sure she's okay. I would rather not have to take her back to the hospital. Yah that's the reason. I have a feeling she'll be too excited to train and forget to bring water, so I might as well change and grab some waters before I head down there. She used to always forget water during hero training, why would now be any different.

       After changing and grabbing the necessary supplies I made my way down to see my new roommate? Partner? Friend? I don't even know what label to put on this situation anymore. She was already stretching and seemed pretty ready to go.

      "Oh you came down here! I'm surprised since you seemed against me training. Well it's always better training with someone else than alone so perfect, also why do you have two waters?" She questioned quickly at the end of her statement. She must have noticed me standing in the door way, dang it I wanted to try and initiate a conversation for once. I feel like all I've done is order her around or reply to her when she tries to have actual conversations.

      "Well it seems your habit of never bringing water to training never changes so I brought you one also." I chuckled before continuing, "Who do you normally train with?"

        "Thank you for the water, could you put it by my towel?" She asked as I made way over to place my stuff near hers. "I normally train with Bakugo so he always brings my water for me." She laughed.

         I don't know how I feel about that answer. It seems like she does everything with him, I'm surprised the two actually aren't an item well I might as well ask that. "Hey (Y/N), you seem to spend a lot of time with Bakugo and talk about him were you two ever dating or are you interested in him?"

Your P.O.V

        What. The. Hell. Where on earth did that question come from?? "Um no we never have been and I don't think we would ever be. Why does it seem like that?!" I blushed at the thought of how embarrassing that misconception is. I hope the press doesn't thing anything like that. Oh my gosh that would be a hot mess especially if the Commission makes the pairings public.

       "Um ya it kind of seemed like that. Especially the way he reacted when you got hurt the other week." Shoto said a little less confidently.

        "Ya no I don't think something like that would ever work out between us he's just a really good friend. Anyway lets stop talking about him and get to training alright?" I finished with a smile hoping that would signal for him to move on.

       "Ya lets get to work" He answered with a small smile.

          But for some reason the whole time we were training and working out I had a feeling like Todoroki wouldn't be the only one asking that question in the future. Especially because I don't know what happened after I got hurt...

??? P.O.V

            Huh seems like she's got more than one of those little heroes protecting her now. Let's see what we can do about that. The Commission is already panicking lets add a little more kindling to the fire. Someone send those pictures to the biggest news outlets, along with the hero pairings. This will be a great distraction while we recover, but then I will be victorious.
