(Y/N) P.O.V.
"God. Fucking. Damn. It!"
"Yo Vivace chill we'll figure this out I'm sure the other two are just doing a thorough check of their side then they'll get us out!"
"Yes Chargebolt lets hope those two idiots who fight with each other more than they observe their surroundings didn't get stuck exactly like this!" I exclaim sarcastically.
Now let me backup for a moment. Everything was going fine and dandy no disturbances whatsoever. The only strange thing was it seemed as though most of the things in the warehouse hadn't been touched for at least a week. A slight layer of dust was beginning to form, though it was minimal, but the drapings were sagging over the crates they were covering clearly not as tight as they normally would be. It began to get stranger when we had made it to a more open space and there was still nothing around. Kaminari and I decided we would take a risk crossing the open space to make sure there was no hidden door to an underground portion or anything when I heard the click. I saw Kaminari look down to notice his foot had stepped on some kind of plate and before either of us could react there was a trap dropping from the ceiling. Unfortunately for us, it was reinforced with steel and had quirk blocking technology. For some reason there was a glass window taking up half of one side but it looked extremely thick and was most likely bullet proof. And without either of our quirks it's not like we were getting out anyways.
"Hey Hey Hey! Let's think positively I'll just try calling them on the coms duh!" Kaminari laughed out as he rambled random greetings to try and get a reply.
"Are you serious right now?" I questioned while staring at the hero acting like an idiot in front of me.
"What they may just be taking a minute to respond..."
"Kaminari I can't hear you."
"What do you mean we are having a conversation right now? Also why did you use my name... oh... you can't hear me in the coms..." He caught on.
"Which means?" I wanted him to get serious if only for a moment.
"That no one else can hear us or know what's going on... But that also means they clearly knew we were coming..." He concludes.
This was not how I was expecting my first mission back to go... I just wanted a chance to fight some people, get some anger out, hopefully stop this mess before it gets bigger than we already know it is, and finally have something else in the media about me for a change. But no that's too much to ask for and I'm stuck in a box. I don't want to freak out Kaminari but I can feel my energy draining at a constant rate. What most people don't know is that my quirk is ingrained in how my body functions without it I'll start shutting down. That was the real reason for my incident I was too drained to function and we need to get out of here before we reach that point.
"We need to get out of here right now, so first why don't we-" I stopped talking as I heard clapping.
"Ah so it seems the heroes were stupid enough to believe the tip... I figured they would after I've been stirring up some trouble." The man in the shadows moves closer as he speaks.
"And who exactly are you?" Kaminari speaks up.
"I thought it would be obvious I'm the one you've been trying to track down." The man steps into the light. His clothes are clearly different from his profile but the face is the same. "Now I am sure you recognize me so I won't bother rambling, but what I'm sure you don't know about my quirk is that I can move living things..."
I stay silent knowing if we interrupt he may stop talking and it seems as though Kaminari arrived at the same conclusion. I only hope the other groups are realizing something is up as we missed the check in mark. However, I could hear the implication in his tone and I knew if something didn't happen soon we would be in a bigger mess than what's already happened.
